Hey, well... This is my first art thread here, and I just want to post some of my artwork to see what you guys think of it.

Here are a couple Fakemon I made a while back. They're both legendaries, and I really like their designs. Basically, Quadranti is the creator of galaxies, and Shaphoid is the destroyer of them. I based their 'relationship' after Darkrai's and Cresselia's relationship (Darkrai creates nightmares, Cresselia banishes them), but on a more universal scale.

Yay first post


These are really good and I would love to see more. You set a good story fir them both too.

The artwork and design is brilliant! There's a few things I don't like though:

Shaphoid looks a lot like Darkrai.
You spelt flies wrong.
The fact that they were made before arceus(If this is true for Quadranti, that means it guards the galaxies which didn't exist :S)

He said Shaphoid was made before Arcues, not neccisarily the other.
Shaphoid looks nothing liek Darkrai...

Thank you everyone, I'm glad you like them. Only a couple things- I originally designed Quadranti and Shaphoid back before Diamond and Pearl came out, so I didn't actually copy anything, so to speak... But oh well, it's your opinion, I guess! =D

Also, I have a short backstory to the two that I'll put here. Basically, Shaphoid was the Pokemon that inhabited the void that existed before Arceus created the universe. Arceus was hatched in that void, and proceeded to create Quadranti (who guards the many galaxies that fill the universe), and of course, Palkia, Dialga, and the Lake Trio (Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf). But then, Shaphoid and Quadranti began to fight for power, and the newly created universe was about to be destroyed, so Arceus created another Pokemon to calm the two.

After watching the 10th Pokemon movie, the Rise of Darkrai, I got the idea for this Fakemon, and it would not leave me alone until I drew it. =D So, here it is!



If you've seen the 10th movie, you'll understand where I got the idea for this one.

And yes, there are a lot of flaws in the proportions and whatnot, mainly because I didn't feel like inking this at the time I sketched it, so I just cleaned up the original sketch on Photoshop before I colored it. So please don't whine to me about proportions being wrong... believe me, I already know. XD Also, Oracion's wings, when open, look like the big glowing wings the bell towers kinda morphed into in the movie.

Shaphoid is dark gray with spikey bits coming of some parts, like darkrai, and has a grey mane/hair thing. I never said it was bad.

Palkia created galaxies :/

The new one's great in every way though, and the design on all of them is very high quality.

I watched the first 30 minutes online before I had to do something and forgot I was watching. Your art is great, not if your trying to look like Sugi, which you obviously aren't. But please, just for me, color Saphoid's cloak! I don't like the realistic picture with the cartoon-like one.

Weirdmin: I'm sorry if you don't like Shaphoid's cloak, but I am afraid I am not going to change it. I like the effect, and it was in Shaphoid's original design as well... ):

Magma King: I know you never said it was bad, I was just stating that I created Shaphoid's design before Darkrai came out. Sorry if I made you feel like you disliked it, for that was not my intention.

And now for something completely different. This is a dragon character I made and currently use as my persona on deviantART. The original outline was done in pencil, and the coloring was all done digitally. Hope you like it, and I will post more Fakemon later!

This is a Grovyle character I created for a fanfiction I'm writing, named Vogra. He was once a happy Treecko/Grovyle living in the Hoenn region, before he was captured by Team Galactic, along with a bunch of other Pokemon, to be used as experiments in the Sinnoh Region. He managed to escape, but not before some unknown chemical got into his system, slowly depleting his eyesight until he was completely blind. He's used to his blindness by now, and he has had several unpleasant run-ins with Team Galactic since his original capture (hence the scars and cuts on his body), and he likes to keep to himself. He is surprisingly skilled in battle despite his blindness, as he uses the earth's vibrations and his senses of smell and hearing to depict where the enemy is, then he strikes like lightning. (Think Toph from Avatar. XD)
