^Well you could'veeasily copied it onto an MS document and expanded it there. But whatever I'll make it bigger
I have never been in the Emperor’s palace before so it was pretty nerve-racking when Whiscash told us to report there with Dragonfang, and Torchwood.
Heck even getting past the garden was something, the garden though was beautiful. Straight channels of water aligned the edges of the beautiful walkways made of flattened granite. Grass was cut to an even trim all the way across, Fountains fed the channels as they cascaded water in beautiful arrays. The main fountain was carved to have a Gyrados look as if it was swimming to the surface and a bunch of other water pokemon were rising with him. Each depiction of a water pokemon was made with some kind of stone that was of their natural colors instead of a plain tan rock.
It was hard looking away from the beautiful work despite my fear of water, and water pokemon.
The Palace was something else, it was obviously an octagon shape, the structure must have been 4 stories high, each corner had a tower that rose above that height and went up to 8 stories. To top the towers off was a clock on each one, the roof tiles were a blue and the stonework on the walls was brick like and had a light gray tint.
On the garden road I could see the many guards that were Rhydons, Kanghaskans, and more combatants such as Scizors and Kabutops. In the air I could see Dragonites, Salamences, and Flygons patrol.
When we came to the entrance of the Palace we were halted by two Sceptile ready to fight. The one on the right of them began.
“What business do the five of you have here?” His strong voice asked of us, “And who are the strangers?” He looked over to Torchwood and Dragonfang.
Cutlass had pulled out the letter of access to the two Sceptile. The one on the left took it and read it to himself. He began to speak,
“Access allowed,” After that he tapped his foot and the two doors behind us swung open and we walked inside.
What I saw astonished me more than before; the flooring of the castle was an elaborate work of art that depicted our Guardians of our home. At the top of them was Ho-oh flying above the cliff which all the guardians that couldn’t fly stood on. I saw tapestries that were amazing works of weaving. Stained glass windows were also viewable, each one again with one of the Guardians taking a separate pose (besides the Regi’s which were all in one) in them.
There were many high status pokemon walking around, for instance; when I came in I saw a Gardevoir known as Lady Deladon. She’s actually one of Lord Centuron’s relatives.
And many other well known people were to follow. I could live here all my life and be dazzled at what my eyes laid upon, but I knew why we were here.
We proceeded down many halls until we finally ended up at the throne room.
In the Throne room I could see it was a Hall about a tenth of a kilometer long with a carpet of a red-clad. On top of the throne was the emperor and the moment I saw him we all bowed down to him.
He stood up from his chair, “Arise,” We did just that, and then I noticed how Dragonfang and Torchwood did not bow.
I saw Volta becoming scared for them, “Why didn’t you bow?”
Dragonfang looked at her, “He is not my king,”
The three of us panicked and looked towards Centuron who was approaching us; he was about Dragonfang’s height. He seemed to look as if he was analyzing them; he did the same to Torchwood and took a step back.
“You two are not of this land correct?”
“Yes,” Torchwood said calmly.
“Where are you from?”
“The Lands of Arceus,”
“Never heard of it.” Centuron replied.
“I didn’t expect you to.” Dragonfang added.
Centuron reverted to Dragonfang, “What are you; I seemed to guess your friend had some relation to the Magmar but I have no idea what you are of.”
“I am a Garchomp, a combination of Dragon and Ground,” He replied.
“Something about you is peculiar, you show no fear towards me and I can sense that you feel higher than me? Why?”
“I ask not to elaborate,” Dragonfang shook his head.
“Do as you wish, I must send for my artist to sketch the both of you and add your description into the species archive.” He looked over to one of his guards that were a Pidgeot.
“Talon, go fetch me the Smeargle.”
“Yes, my lord.” He flapped his wings and flew out of the hall.
“Now can you enlighten me on this Lands of Arceus?” Centuron looked back to Dragonfang.
“Better, I can enlighten on the current chaos.”
“About time there is more to be said than just someone is saved.” Centuron thanked him, and then the Pidgeot had flown back in the room with the Smeargle. “Let us discuss this at dinner, for now we have need to inscribe you into the archive.”
The Smeargle had been carrying an easel and a paint dish and dipped his tail in the paint, he began his work.
Centuron turned to the three of us.
“I must thank you three; I had already heard the rumors of Team Sandraft uncovering a new species. And now that I have seen the result of your work I am very impressed. I am glad the rescue corps has you three on the job.”
“Thank you your majesty,” I responded politely as I could to him.
Later on we sat down at a massive table that seated ten people comfortably. With Lord Centuron at one end, along with his wife (a Blaziken), and Children. At the other end, his newest Guest; Dragonfang, Torchwood and the three of us sat on both sides of him.
The feast amongst us was bountiful and delicious. I never had such delicacy enter my mouth before and I savored all of it, loving every moment I took a bite.
Centuron brought up a conversation.
“Dragonfang, Torchwood, what is this Lands of Arceus you speak of?”
Torchwood was first to respond, “It’s about a Kilometer off the veil of darkness, but I believe that it is actually on the other side of the veil that is upon your shores.”
“I see, what happened there that has to do with the frontier here?”
Dragonfang took this one, “We’re not sure exactly, but we do know that when we tried to cross the veil, the last thing I remembered was winding up in your forest.”
“Odd, well what was happening in the Lands of Arceus before you came here.”
“Utter Chaos, ten years ago my father died, shortly afterward there was tensions amongst the residents of the Dark Forest of Darkrai and the Caverns of Giratina.”
All of us had confused looks on our faces, sure Volta, Cutlass, and I knew Darkrai, but what the heck was Giratina?
“Sorry, I forgot you do not know of my guardians.”
“Never mind that, continue.” Centuron picked up his goblet containing ale and took a sip.
“I tried to figure out what was going on but the only thing that came out of it was the word: ‘Nira’. I tried to find out what it meant but nothing came of it.” Dragonfang looked back down to his cut of meat, sliced a piece and began to chew.
“‘Nira’…” Centuron was puzzled, trying to take this all in his sipped from his goblet yet again hoping it would help.
“Can’t say I have ever heard of it,” Lord Centuron then tore off a cut of meat and chewed.
Then the feast was disturbed as the table flipped over about to land on Cutlass, one of the king’s children, and I. Cutlass had no choice but sliced the table down the middle and I held up one end to save the Quilava from being crushed.
Lord Centuron; I could her him kicking his chair back as he stood up and walked around to pick up his son.
“What in the name of Ho-oh just happened?!”
I got out from under the table when I saw a strange silhouette materializing.
Dragonfang took notice, “Mismagius…”
The silhouette began to shape into what looked like a witches hat, the head was underneath the shape and that draped shortly afterward by a cone with three orange oval gems on the front of it, the thing was mostly purple.
“Nira will punish the weak minded, and bring forth a new age of victory, and power!” The Ghost pokemon began to spin and a veil of shadow consumed her.
Then before any of us knew it we were all coated in a blue aura, we knew what this meant.
We were soon suspended in the air, and then began to be flailed into each other.
We were slammed against the ground and the ceiling with no success of escaping the freehold, none of us could do anything to stop this abuse.
I then was unconscious and before I fainted I heard a hysterical laugh from the ghost.
I then woke up finding myself in what I identified as the Royal City infirmary. I found that Cutlass and Volta were in the beds next to mine; on the right was Cutlass and then Dragonfang, past him was Torchwood.
A Chansey came up to my bed, she was holding a bowl of a steaming hot liquid. She took out a deep spoon.
“I’m glad to see you’re awake,” she dipped the spoon into the bowl and then stuck it in my mouth.
It was disgusting, but I already knew that it wasn’t food it was medicine. What made it only worse was its stench was drowning out my remaining aftertaste from the feast in the Palace.
“What happened?” I asked,
“The guards found you, your friends, and the emperor unconscious in the dining room.” She placed the bowl down; thankfully I only needed only so much and not the whole bowl.
“Are my friends okay?”
“You’re the luckiest of all of them, your foreign friend that looks like a shark lost a lot of blood, while the other one has a gaping scar across his back after what appeared a decorative sword slashed across. The other two are more fortunate than them but not as fortunate as you.”
I felt a chill crawl down my spine, the medicine was apparently putting me to sleep, I tried to fight it due to my anxiety, but again I dosed off, this time in a bed.

Now normally I'd wait for more reviews but no one reviewed the last chapter so I'll go ahead with this one.
I woke up again finding myself still in the bed at Royal City’s infirmary. I felt a lot better and apparently everyone else was awake.
“Guys!” I hopped out of the bed, and jumped over to Cutlass’s bed.
“Hey, Sandraft!” He looked over to me happily.
“Glad to see your okay, man, whatever that attacked us last time was a killer, I’ll tell ya. Not even all of us, and the king could take it down.” I started to ask.
“So it was that Mismagius?” Cutlass asked.
“Yes it was.” Dragonfang’s strong voice came from behind; I turned around to the Shark titan.
“Like I have said before, there was Magmortar, Mismagius, Rampardos, Yanmega, and Mamoswine; the strongest of us.”
“Is Mismagius the runner up?” I asked hoping for a yes.
“No,”
At that moment a Chansey arrived and went over to me.
“Sandraft you have a visitor,” Then the shiny Vulpix came over to me.
“Firestorm!”
“Sandraft!” she ran up to me.
“Sorry it took so long to touch back with you,”
“Yeah I heard the rest,” She cut me off short.
“How?”
“Your encounter is a rumor spreading through the city like a wildfire. Some are saying that everyone got too drunk, and that was what caused the havoc. Although the King has already come forth to the city and explained what happened. He also explained more about the dangers, and new light that has been shed about the frontier. His regards to ‘our foreign friends.’ Although he never told us where they came from.”
Dragonfang bent down on one knee to talk to the fox, “Makes sense, he doesn’t want the city to explode thinking there might be more of us. When there are already a total of six of us.”
“More?!” Firestorm panicked.
“That’s what I said; I have yet to tell that to your king.” He got up on his feet again. “Sandraft,” He looked towards me, “I’m sorry that my troubles have delayed your teams job in rescuing pokemon. But to be honest, I think with this new information there won’t be any going back to plain old rescuing anyway.” I nodded in agreement.
“So I guess we’re going out to find your friends than?”
He bowed, “Torchwood and I have already made up our minds on that, and if you and the others wish to come that’s your choice.”
I nodded, “Yes, that’s my choice.”
Cutlass agreed, “You’re right, there is no turning back now.”
“What are we all agreeing on?” Volta walked over rubbing her head with her left paw.
“We’re going to find the rest of Dragonfang’s, and Torchwood’s friends. And unless you want to come. We’re going to have a great time taking on the challenge, and then facing it head on.” I laughed at her.
“Hey! I wanna come!” Volta complained,
“He was just kidding Volta, you know you’re welcomed.” Cutlass laughed it off.
“But wait a minute,” Torchwood tried to scratch his head as he approached us.
“What is it?” Garchomp asked.
“That means Mismagius is still somewhere in the city right?” Then we could hear an explosion from outside.
“Holy mother Moltres!” Cutlass jumped, we all dashed outside to where we find our selves at the City’s square. There were buildings on fire, pokemon running, and firing attacks at a bubble in the middle. All the attacks were sent back at their owner blasting the pokemon to the ground.
“Damn her!” Dragonfang swore, as he began dashing at the bubble with Dragon Rush. I joined him in attacking by using sand tomb, as a vortex of sand enveloped under the bubble.
When Dragonfang crashed into the bubble he was then thrown back at our feet and the Sand tomb was redirected and created a defensive cover for Mismagius.
Torchwood began shooting fireballs at the sand sphere causing a ball of glass enveloping where the Mismagius was. For a moment silence was immanent but then the ball cracked and we saw the ghost holding thousand of glass fragments in the air with her psychic attack.
The Shards came like arrows Cutlass began hacking faster than anyone could watch as he sliced the shards to stop their momentum. I quickly used harden to find I had upgraded to iron defense and I stood in front of Volta to protect her from the shards. Dragonfang and Torchwood used fire attacks to block the oncoming shards.
“And who’s idea was it to use fire on sand again!?” I yelled at Torchwood he looked back at me knowing about his mistake.
When the Shards stopped Mismagius began Ominous Wind, no one could see anything clearly as we were suppressed up against the hospitals stone walls.
Cutlass responded with Silver wind, he cut a path for himself to Mismagius and charged forward out of our sight.
We heard many roars of pain, and then a green streak was coming back at us and crashed at our feet.
Cutlass used his scythes to get himself back up, “Dang! And I thought Torchwood was tough!” Then from around the corner we saw the city guards (Kabutops and Scizors) appear. One of the Kabutops used surf to counter the deadly wind attack.
The Mismagius was visible once again. The same ghost pokemon who had torn apart the palace dining room.
Then we could hear her speaking, “Nira,” Then a massive hypnosis echoed from the Ghost. Everyone clenched their ears (except me; I have no ears,) as the drowsy melody was played. It was winning, then another melody battled it off.
It was the melody of a poke flute. I looked to where it was coming from; the hospital. A Chansey came out with the instrument playing strong. The Hypnosis was batted away.
The pokemon became furious. Then a dark pulse came out as dark energy wave out and knocked over everyone.
The ghost pokemon laughed as she headed to the direction of the warehouse.
As everyone got up we saw yet another explosion coming from the warehouse this time. We all headed over to see that the Kangaskhan was putting up a fight. But she stood no chance.
The Mismagius picked the unconscious Marsupial up and threw her into us, we all dodged.
The warehouse was a mess! Everything was scattered everywhere, it was also burning too, but the ghost pokemon just floated there proud of her work. I could see the same hint in her eyes as I saw in Torchwood, Dragonfang, and the other rabid pokemon.
A shadow ball came from the ghost as it flied into Torchwood. Dragonfang stepped forward, he fired the echo like shot of dragon pulse and it was redirected back into him. Cutlass got out in front and used aerial ace, the dragon pulse was destroyed.
I went out to face the ghost using bite I clung onto the ghost. But this time it felt much more powerful. It was Crunch; I had learned Crunch! The ghost yelped in pain, she then used psychic to pluck me off her. She threw me into Cutlass, when I was being thrown back I saw that Volta had shot a thunderbolt at her. She was too focused on me, she didn’t see it coming.
Everyone saw this as an opportunity moment and laid the firepower as Cutlass and I got back up.
The Ghost then picked up the items scattered using psychic and threw them at all of us creating a barrage of objects to distract us.
One of the objects that had flung into Cutlass was a metal cylindrical item. Metal Coat, the moment the two touched a white Aura enveloped him. He began to change shape; he was evolving!
When it was finished he was the red steel bug he had dreamed of. He looked as us and gave the best smile he could, he then dashed at Mismagius. He laid the power of his new attack and the ghost was surely going down. She tried to use a psychic, but the steel resistance was really helping him out. The ghost was down but only for a moment as she disappeared from sight.
“Blasted ghost!” Torchwood roared, “Of all things to encounter Evershadow just has to be it.”
“Calm down Torchwood,” Dragonfang turned to him, “Remember that she is our lifetime friend and whatever is overpowering her is not her fault. Just like it wasn’t ours.
After the mess was over we all went over to my house. Now instead of just two of my friends living here, I had five. We still had plenty of room, but I would hope that if we are to somehow help Dragonfang anymore in saving more of his friends, I hope he has the decency to get his own house.
When we all sat down in a circle, disappointed at our failed attempt to capture Evershadow.
“What in Heatran’s name is up with her?” Torchwood brought up.
“Nira; I wonder what it means.” Cutlass scratched his head with his pincer.
“I wonder when I’m going to evolve!” Volta pouted, “You two evolve before me! When is it my turn to shine?”
Dragonfang laughed, “You sound like me when I was training day and night as a Gabite. I skipped meals because I couldn’t over the fact I wasn’t a Garchomp.
“When the war broke out, most of the pokemon sided with Giratina, they had reason to. He provided excellent persuasive reasoning to the events.”
“What events?”
“The missing leadership, the strange behavior that came from the Dark Forest, then again. The Dark Forest was always on the off side.”
Firestorm spoke up, “Is it just me, or are you not telling us everything you know; Dragonfang?”
Dragonfang looked at her sternly, “It’s just you.”
“That still doesn’t cover why our guardians have been missing though.” Cutlass puzzled himself.
“I don’t think we’ll resolve everything tonight, there is still much missing.” Torchwood decided. He then yawned, “Good night.”
We all decided he was right and all rested our heads as well, “Good night.”
In my sleep that night, I had the strangest dream come to me.
There were two figures in the scene. One was some soulless-looking-dragon of a sort with wings that looked as if they were made of the shadowing veil that surrounded the place the two were in. He had a mostly yellow head and a golden lock like device surrounded his tall neck. He had six legs and his underbelly was strips of the colors red and black.
To his left was quite a bit taller figure that was mostly white. Yellow rings wrapped around his arms at the end like cuffs. His hand was like a tri-claw. He had six eyes that were lined up in a two times three setup, they were in the colors of red, blue, and white. The middle of him had a yellow bump that had a whole set of holes, like nostrils.
There were also green parts on him that looked like hedges. And the majority of his body had black lines that were techno.
“Regigigas, you know what I have called you for?” The dragon asked in his shadowy voice.
“No sir,” The robotic voice responded.
“He is winning this war, he is bringing in more troops from Arceus knows where. And those that are trying to quell the fighting are only making it harder on us. I know we have much of this land on our side, but if this keeps up. I don’t know how we’re going to win.”
“What do you ask of me master?”
“I ask of you to bring back the exile. If he returns the morale of our soldiers will come back. And the remaining guardians will be forced to rejoin us.”
The large white titan bowed, “I accept the responsibilities of this task, but it will take a while.”
“Better late than never.”
I woke up again finding myself still in the bed at Royal City’s infirmary. I felt a lot better and apparently everyone else was awake.
“Guys!” I hopped out of the bed, and jumped over to Cutlass’s bed.

Bit dramatic at the end, don't you think? Ah, well, still really good. Keep it up.
