As it is currently 1:00 AM (1:00h) in Japan on December 1st, the Member's Card event has started, even though the Japanese are sleeping! I took this opportunity to download one, and finally get a nicknameable Darkrai! Caught in a Poke Ball, OT MCD, and tradable on the GTS! Woo! :)

That's great. It'll be good to get one if I get Platinum. People will have loads from all over the place. And Shaymin is going to obtainable via the Oak's Letter Wi-Fi event too.

That's because it's a Japanese event. :P The US and Europe will get separate events.
