I'm doing some new blanks at the moment called DP Special blanks. Basically the card itself is holographic (as is the border, whether it's gold or silver) as this is done a lot in Japan now with shiny Pokémon and Pokémon LV.X. So I tried it with a shiny Pokémon. Here it is:
Interesting back story time! This was a real card, but it was released in Japan in 2001 and was never released in English. This is a direct reprint of the card: everything is the same as the Japanese print, except for the fact that that print had flavor text. No room on this print for that, sadly, but that wouldn't affect its status as a reprint. I even used the same artwork.
Comments and thoughts on the blank are much appreciated!
Actually beautiful and it's good to see accurate fonts in use as well as your sublime Shining blank!
Beau. ti. ful.
Cipher, you are a genius. The only thing is that the 'Shining' effect is sort of dull, could use italicized font or something to make it look unique. :)
8/10
It actually has to use that name owing to how Cipher's made it - it's a reprint of an existing card so it has to retain the original name and everything (Modified Format would be screwy if it didn't). Assuming it had been released in English anyway. So the name is correct as it is and shouldn't have any style.
No, I meant the rule 'you can't have more than 1 shining Pokemon in your deck'.

I might work on it later but in fairness it's how it was done in the Neo era on Shining and Unown cards. Thanks for the feedback. :)
Edit: I've just had an idea whilst looking at this, for what I could do with the ruling. Might post it later tonight.
I like it. I can only really see 1 flaw. The illustration's frame, right under the "basic" graphic, is mis-aligned.
As for the "You can't have more than 1 Shining Mew in your deck." text, I don't much care for the current placement. Maybe if the frame were set up more similar to Lv.X frames w/ a solid bar (rather than the two: Level up & Put onto...), then you could type the shining rule in that.
Also, it might look nicer if the frame and bars were gold, rather than silver.
Where did you get the blank without the line at the bottom? (The line that you put the Flavor text under)
GREAT JOB!

Cheers for letting me know about the misalignment, I'll fix that when I start on all the Psychic blanks. The ruling, I agree, I've got an idea for that, but it's not something I'm gonna spend time implementing because these blanks won't just be for Shining Pokémon. As for the frames, cheers again for the input - I've tried 'em gold, though, and they really don't work, unfortunately.
Still, when you see the blank with the silver border, it works perfectly. :)

Thanks, and, uh, read the top of the first post...I do believe I said I'm making these. :P
Can you post them? I really, really, really, really, need them.
