It has been a while since I faked in this style, and my newest illustration looked good on it, so I used this ADV dark template.
I think I used energy symbols that were slightly too big, but I'm okay with it. Also, fonts and alignment may be off, but no one can be perfect.
I purposely blurred the pic sightly by scaling it down a few pixels.
hey that look nice! prop to you

Thanks. I'm glad you think so. :D
Fonts are off a little bit. Other than that, good job!
Yeah, I figured they were. Thanks for commenting. :D
Cool. That's all I have to say, except maybe asking you why you chose to use a pre-DP set card- I think that's the layout of a card in the EX series.

Blanks are available from the beginning of the TCG - Classic, Gym, Neo, e-Card, EX, DP...they're all available, and there's no unwritten rule that fakers have to use DP blanks just because they're current. In some cases, such as this one where the faker wants to do a dual-type card, previous blanks will have to be used.
I realize that, It was just a question. Almost all of the fakers I've seen choose to use the newer set. Mind you, I said "That I've seen." There are certainly fakers who don't use newsets, but just wanted to know. What I didn't realize was that DP layout doesn't allow for dual types.

Thanks. The main reason is because the DP water template didn't work well with the illustration. I considered using an even earlier blank (Classic Neo), but then illustration still didn't work well. Since the background of my illustration was so dark, I figured a dark template would be ideal. Since the EX series is the only one with a dual-type template, I chose to use it.
The font is okay, but the illustration is really good... I've noticed that your cards are some of the better looking ones on Acanthite's forums. Keep up the good work!
