YES! thank You i'v been looking for this for days!:D:D:D
So hopefully we'll get it in June, which isn't so bad.
I'm not confined to the bounds of an English release date. I'm rabid enough to get the American copy. :P
I'll get the American version. :)

Looker is a cool name, sounds more realistic than Handsome for someone's name. But what on earth (pun intended) is Charon? Is that supposed to be a planet, as I can't think of one called that and if it's just a moon or something, it's broke the name trend.

Well, if you think about it, he does very little compared to the planet-named admins, so it's fitting he's got the moon of a dwarf planet, which pales in comparison. :P

You're lucky if you're getting anything at all next year. After their massive cock-up with Animal Crossing, Nintendo Australia is in serious trouble with Nintendos America, Europe and Company Ltd. (Japan).

But anyways, on topic, yes, it's likely the Euro region will get the game in June, though I do have my fingers crossed for a May release.
Cant say Im much of excited :\. Pokemon is a good game idea, but all wrong. I did buy Diamond, but I was soon confused as to why I did; It didnt provide me with much Gameplay at all. It's hard to get int oa pet raising game with such a small range in minimum and maximum stats. Sure, it may have a low range due to competative battling, but I think it'd be even more competitive if the range was higher. So, cool, Platinum is out, but Im saving my 40$ for a DS pet raising game that isnt a copy and paste of the last 9,000 games in the series.

Also, 100 levels isnt enough, ifthey wanted to maximize gameplay they should increase it a bit more. Also, add some more room for the DVs. Increase IVs from a max of 31 to a max of about 100, and allow like 1,000 EVs to be spread out. That would make the Pogeys more customizable. Even better, how about they let you SEE THE DVs. I dont like how they hide it when it is the main idea. Let's also make the game around 2v2 battles more often, heck, why not 3v3? 1 on 1 is so...predictable and provides less combinations. Its just like 500 Pogeys with a slightly altered moveset, and keep in mind peopel arent gonna be using Caterpies and Hoppips. 2v2 gives 2500 combos, and 3v3 brings it up to 12500. I'm also quite amazed that people are actually buying these even less altered copy and pastes. How much more is Platinum really going to offer? 8gyms, some evil team, and 9,000 Legendaries? Hadnt had that before.

Hmm, sorry for this rant, but I just felt like I had to blurt it out at some point :P

DVs being hidden is the whole point- you're supposed to raise a Salamence with love and care until you realize you put 0 EVs into Atk and have an IV of 0. It adds the fun, not being able to mathematically calculate how much damage you will do very easily. If they publically revealed IVs and told you them, Pokemon would be no fun. IV battling is supposed to add to the frustration in raising competitive Pokemon. It's good, not bad, that they're hidden. Same with making EV training such a pain, adds to the awesomeness of raising a mon.

2v2 is so boring. Honestly, Nintendo promotes it TOO much, what with PBR being centered around 2v2.

Bringing the max IVs and alotted EV totals would make your Pokemon too unique, making it REALLY hard to get what you want off of Wi-Fi. :P

Especially, bringing the EV max up would be a redo of RBY, you let a Pokemon be almost invincible with no more thinking on where to put your EVs, just put them everywhere. Oh, that would be terrible.

Basically, a frustrating way to raise Pokemon is a good one.
