If you actually take the card seriously, you're quite dense.
This is just a test of some custom blanks I made that play with the positioning of certain things to allow a larger space for art.
And ironically, whilst there's a teensy bit more space for art horizontally, there's considerably less vertically.
Not really; it just looks that way because the art is higher on the card.

Same reason some people say that 16:9 widescreen shows less of the picture than 4:3.
the picture need to be better, on bidoof i can see the white lines, and w/ the on on the right something at the top isnt right, but good

Thanks for judging the fake after I specifically stated it was only to show off the blank.
The picture box is a bit rough, though.
I would not recommend keeping the art at the top like that. The name of the card, type, and HP are essential information that are quickly lost when shoved underneath next to the attack data. In fact, if it weren't for the background color, it would have taken me a while to figure out the type of this card. Also, when you put that information above the art, not only does the art provide a nice visual buffer, but the information at the top provides a visual reflection of the important information you generally see at the bottom—weakness, resistance and retreat cost.
It's rather simple graphic design cues that make the card that make the card easier to look at and read—even if your card had been 100% made in MSPaint.
Looks like you did that in 5 seconds. :/ Listen to Gormy's advice.
I agree. The blank just doesn't look right. It is great that you were trying to make a new type of blank! We ALL love new Card Blanks!
I think that the color for the colorless font is too dark. When you do the metal blank you will have problems because the colorless blank and the metal blank will going to have the same color
Also the use a diagonal space for the weakness and resistance is a waste of space, also I think the space for dexdata is too small, practically I can't see it o_ò
And the gold color of the illustration's box is too dark, looks a kinda dirty (I recommend you change the shading for a brown instead of a black, in that way it will look more goldy)
Sorry if I sound too hard, but it's constructive critique for help you to fix your format
