I've started my own fan-fic a few days ago. Unlike most of the fan-fics around here, it's not about Pokemon (I tried and failed. Miserably :P)
It is based on a more Medieval world. The main character (a girl) and a few of her friends get taken away by bandits, so that they can be sold as a slave. Something like that :P
I'm not really far in the story yet and it's going to take a long time for me to finish it (being Dutch and typing in English :P), but I'll try to finish this fan-fic.
I'll update this post when I get a bit further in the story.
I'm starting on fleshing out the next chaper of Pokemon Blak tonight. The truth is that it's actually goingmto develop to be pretty gritty, but I'm having trouble deciding where to draw the line.
Here's what I have for a prologue:
Some things are harder to explain than others, and some can't be explained at all. Such as how a Pokémon can fall hundreds of feet and barely have a scratch on them. How Pokémon straight from the wild know what to do at a trainer's command, even though they've never heard the command before.
Other mysteries can be explained, but most can't. Such as the story I am about to tell.
My name is Kiryu. I am- rather, was- a Pokémon trainer.
It needs to be longer, but I don't know what to put. Any ideas?

Pokemon Protectors
After competing in the Ovato Pokemon League Championship, Chris returns to his hometown of New Light and the life he left behind a year ago. Chris is welcomed back as a hero, though he really doesn't feel like one. None the less, he tells his family and friends about his travels and the different Pokemon he encountered. But things take a sharp turn when Chris receives a mysterious package. He sets off again, on a journey to find the answers to the questions concerning this gift and to find a part of himself he left behind during his last journey.
Well, both of you have interesting ideas. Kudamon I'll try to think of something that could help you with your Fic, and Traveler, if you need help just ask here. I am sure everyone will want to help.
I can't wait to see the Prologue and a few chapters posted here... then maybe my fic will have some competition.
Thanks. The prologue is definitely in motion, but there are a lot of things on my plate, nothing I can't manage though. I'll try to keep up with the fic, because it is a good idea, but there's also classes and scripting for the project to finally get to. I've learned my lesson about time management though, so there's not going to be a repeat like last year.
Anyways, I like your idea, Kudamon X. *chicken passes by* Can't wait to see the first chapter of that. I think it's suppose to be funny. Have a good one, guys.

Thinking of reviving the old story. The only problem last time was that nobody commented on it. :P
I'll surely comment on this one ;). So, what's the setting of this story? Medieval Europe? Modern America?
