Windfyre has had a name change, so the server that Acanthite will be hosted on is different now, so if any of you have been having trouble connecting this is why.

The new website is http://www.kbfail.net. In order to connect now, instead of using irc.windfyre.net, you must now use irc.kbfail.net

I can't change the stuff on the main page right now as I lost the login info for the FTP along with my reformat I did a little while ago so I'll have to get that off Cipher sometime.

The Java Chat won't be working correct right now so the only way to connect until I fix it is to use an IRC Client like mIRC and connect by copying and pasting this link into your address bar which should automatically open your IRC client and let you connect:

irc::/irc.kbfail.net%206667/acanthite

If you're having any trouble let me know.

Huh. So that's why I couldn't get on yesterday. Well, this sucks. By address bar, do you mean where you put the URL to a website?

Yep.

Though I've fixed the the link on the chat page: http://pokemonacanthite.com/chat.php So you can just click that, but right now the Java Chat isn't working, I've got to wait for kbfail to get their javachat back up so I can fix it.

Finally :P It's been two weeks since I last joined the chat. It works perfectly for me now :)

Ah, I was wondering why it wasn't working anymore.
However I still can't manage to access it (or any channel) through an IRC Client, I've tried a few but they all stop my router from working when I try to connect. :(
Has anyone more experienced with IRC got an idea why this could be?

That's because the Java chat doesn't work *points to first post*
You need to download a chat client (??), ike mIRC. Then you can join the chat, if I'm correct :)

There needs to be good features and benefits for the chat to survive. Duh morons.
