Don't intend to hang onto Gligar, just caught it on my way through the route below Cycling Road, to get to the part of Wayward Cave with Bronzor and Gible - yay for no longer needing Strength!
Haven't been able to find a Heracross on a Honey Tree or a Skull Fossil to revive into Cranidos, and I've got to wait until tomorrow to go back and get Drifloon, so....I'll likely just run with Shellos (should be Gastrodon soon), Bronzor, Gible, Eevee (once I get to Hearthome - still dunno what I'll evolve it into), and Bibarel as an HM slave....
It was torture to get past Gardenia, when my only really-actually-trained pokemon were Shellos and Bibarel, both Water-types. It took me 3 tries, and I had to use weaklings like Budew and Beautifly to eke out the win (it was DAMN close between Roserade and Beautifly at the end), after which I promptly dumped them back in the PC.
There are so many different options to mold a team out of right now, I've got no clue what team I'm going to end up with when I enter Hearthome....

Noctowl, Level 26
Bibarel the Slave, Level 15

Last slot will be Porygon, which I will evolve to Porygon2.

the Mob, your Pokemon's nicknames are awesome. Spartan the Bidoof. Pure awesomeness. :P I got through the Distortion world yesterday, and, dang it looked weird. It took me like 2 hours to find my way through it, because after pushing in Uxie's rock, I went back the way I came, didn't know where I was, and got lost.
FINALLY beat Fantina on my 4th (yes, fourth) try. Her Mismagius has massive hax >_> It was a team effort, with Bibarel's using a TM-taught Thief to steal away Mismagius's Sitrus Berry before it could kick in was probably the only reason I won. My team now;
iRotom (as in iPod Rotom) the Rotom - Level 21 [love the fact you can catch it pre-Nat Dex]
Xenon the Leafeon - Level 22 [no Grass moves T_T]
Carnage the Gabite - Level 25 [for some reason, I thought Gible evolved at 30, and I'm glad to be wrong]

Spartan the Bibarel - Level 21 [with the exception of the Thief factor, it's basically an HM slave now]
Still hope to catch Houndour on the route just past Veilstone....

Similar situation, my third try: my team was in the 27s with a level 6 Bidoof and my new level 20 Eevee. Mismagius, down to a few HP, had wiped out everyone but Machop and Eevee, and Machop used Foresight and was promptly Psybeam'd. Then Eevee came in, and Quick Attacked for the win.
After remembering Magmar was in this game, and having never trained one, I've decided to refocus. My current team, having arrived in Pastoria, but not yet defeated Maylene or Wake:

Lv19 Miku the female Buneary[will be a Lopunny when Happyness is maxed out]
Lv16 ToxiMoth the Dustox[renamed][has poision sting so i can poison people]
Lv 15 IPop the Drifloon[T.G.I.W.F.*,can use gust and astonish]

Btw, i was listing to my bros Ipod while i was catching Drifloon. so nicknamed him IPop XD
I finished a runthrough. I've EV'd an Oritina for my Ubers team, and I'm currently working on a SD Scizor. I have a Timid Azelf to train later, and I plan to reset for three Timid Kanto birds. Luckily, I brought in three Master Balls for that explicit purpose. Afterwards, I'm going to try to get a Bold Rotom with good IVs.

Use some bug moves like bug bite! Also if dustox has any flying moves us those to. She really isnt that hard just use the right moves.

Yeah, at least you actually have super effective moves. I beat her with only my Grotle, using Curse(like 5 times) and then Bite. I won eventually.
