But really, I could do with some help/feedback on the final stage of this line:


I think his legs need to be a bit longer, but his face is what bothers me the most. So yeah.. help?

These designs look nice. The final evolution's picture looks like it's drawn Wind Waker style. Even if it wasn't, it would still be awesome. The second evolution's face needs to be a little better, more defined. How about raising the eyes a little? The heavy outline's not desirable either. The first form's outline is ideal, great job on him. I hope I've been helpful.

It reminds me of the Madillo off of Monster Rancher, just the face and armor. But other than that it's really good, but it seems to be missing a leg, I know that it isn't, but it looks like it.

Please note that the latter two are just sketches, and only the first one has proper art (that I need to redo anyway). This might explain the thick black outlines.

I'm having insane problems with the faces for both of the evolutions.

Also, the final evolution is missing a leg at this moment indeed. I was to lazy to draw it up. Legs need to be redone on him anyway, they're way too short at this moment. I might need to define his arms a bit more aswell.

Still, thoughts?

I like the faces just fine. Are these grass/rock? The last one appears to have boulder shoulders.
