Didnt feel like thinking of a thread title D:. Anyway, welcome to DMJ's sprite thread, hopefully it'll stay alive. I just recently picked spriting back up after near a year absence from it, so here are some of my recent works...mainly scratches.

They are pretty good, but there are somethings wrong. The bugs are pretty good, but I don't like the look of the final evo.
Local dragons: The first 2 are too much like bugs, especially the middle evo, and the final evo is hard to see in its position.
Relicanth evo: ????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
The lions: Try more work on them, because the prevo looks like a hedgehog, and the evo looks like a deformed luxray(that part offends me, that part right there).
Prevo for tentacool: OMG! TENTACOOL STARTED OUT AS A UFO! XDXDXD
Otherwise, their all pretty good.
I think you did a good job. I liked your Relicanth evolution and your Tentacool pre-evolution the best. Nice re-types, too, especially Bomb Gastly.
Not bad stuff, I like the small dragon most. The bigger one seems a bit off, though; it kinda looks lieka pile of colors until you actually can tel lwhat it is, if you knwo what I mean. It may just be the positioning ~
Ykno, after looking that these..I think i see parts of other Pokemon..you didnt use their bodyparts..did ya?
Dont take online classes in high school...they'll have you dreading your spring break -_-...
@ Atd: Thanks for the crit, helps me out. I was debating about respriting the last dragon, now I guess I should. I dont know what to do to the lion cub, but I try to edit its evo up from looking like a "deformed luxray."

@ Noahnova: Thanks, and I know what you mean about the dragon. All my sprites are 100% scratch, where do you see other parts of pokemon? On the fakes?
If you are remaking some of them, I would like to help out by pointing out some things I should have said earlier. The forelegs on the evolved Ice/Electric are too far apart. Less space between those legs would make it more appealing. Noah had I good idea saying that the final Dragon-type evolution needs to be in a new pose, so that we wouldn't confuse what is where. The Bug-types are alright, but I think the final evolution needs a few more physical features, maybe tusks or horns. That's all I notice right now.
The final bug evolution should not get any horns, it would lose its amazing cuteness.
Anyway some of the scratches are nice, but as previously said, some of them are not so nice.
That fusion is SO cute!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(Not the best I've seen though, but still really good)
I hope you don't mind some pretty harsh crit D:
Common Bugs: Decent and recent :3
Region Dragons: Last one could use less sharp turns, less dithering, better shading and some smoother outlines. It's also really hard to which part's which.
Relicanth and Evo: Nice job :3 Relicanth's face could use some work, it looks like it's slightly turned, and that doesn't wwork well with it. The fins are also strange, make one of them go into then body outline to show it's in front.
Cubs: I like the first one, but the second one's face is out of propertion. Work on the right (its right) side.
Tentacool Line with Pre-Evo: Good work. xD
Giratina Re-Type: Its left side's wings aren't as thin and slender as the right side, it's like a bird's wing on one side and snakes on the other. Your Fire Scratching needs work too. If you PM me I might be able to help with your fire problems.
Gastly: Fire's better, but you followed a simple outlook on it. Puffy fire ftw x3 The fiery look is still there, just not as effective as smooth long wild fire. The random flare surrounding it is rougly scratched like Gira's fire. Looks funny.
Mix: Starly's head isn't as effective as Piplup's when it comes to the small body. Now it just looks weird. The head was badly spliced on, and it looks misplaced as well as slightly tilted. Everything else is neat, but the feet could also use some work. The outline looks funny coloured.
I dunno if this was harsh or not but to me it is ;P You have potential, I'd like to see more scratches of yours.

@ The Traveler: Less space between the forelegs seem to be a reasonable fix. I'm working on the new scratch for the dragon final evo. This is gonna take a minute, and I'm hungry :O.
@ Raqua: Thanks! The fusion isnt the best I've seen or done either, I just felt as though it was "cute" enough as it.
@ PapaLulu: THanks for the awesome crit, really appreciated. I guess my fire scratching could use a few work, I tried to mimic the style of infernape's fire... I guess I failed in that endeavor :D. Wow in the first post I meant to say "Actually these arent recent, but I like em"... I was wondering what you meant at first by saying my bugs were recent XD. I didnt "splice on" Starly's head; I recolored piplup's head and scratched on the crest and beak...keeping piplup's beak looked weird...I also kept piplup's original feet as...well I'm bad at scratching feet D:.
Ah, okay. I think that the thing that was throwing it off were the wings then. The head looks a bit too big for the body, maybe the wings could be made more like Starly's so that it look in balance.
