Pokémon Acanthite Forums

Tonight I'm very happy to announce a new generation of moderators for Pokémon Acanthite Forums as we introduce our brand-new moderation team.

Our moderation team will remain at four members - we're pleased to confirm that Box of Fail remains on the team to go about his devilish ways - but we also welcome three new members to the team in the forms of Magma King, Count Splatula and The Traveler. We're very excited to bring these three onboard and we hope you'll join us in welcoming them to the team.

However, this does also mean we have to lose three of our current moderators. Virtual Chatot and Canine Munch have been inactive for quite a while so they've been taken off the team, but we also say goodbye to Super Whitey who remains our longest-standing moderator, having been with us since Acanthite's first forums opened nearly two years ago. Have no fear, though, as they'll all be sticking around on the forums for a long time yet.

On an unrelated note, I do need to mention the forum's activity - you'll have noticed we've had an increase of active members this month. Unfortunately, this means that we will inevitably exceed our allocated bandwidth by the end of the week which will result in the site being taken down until May 1. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause but we are working on the matter to ensure it doesn't happen next month.

This, however, is not the subject of the thread, just keep it in mind so there are no surprises when we go down - please join us in welcoming our new moderators. :)

Congrats to Magma King, Count Splatula and The Traveler. I'm sure you'll all remain active and keep this place in great shape. I see your all keeping my spot warm; because as soon as one of you guys slacks, I'm taking it back as losing that spot made me realise what was so good about it. :P

I am Super Whitey btw and this is a whole new name and look for me as I am back on track lol. The forums can only get better with the new mods and Box of Fail still on board, so well done to you all. Keep up the good mod instincts that you've all shown as members as if you don't, I'll be showing what I can do, as trust me, I like green better than light blue. :)

Congratulations everybody :D especially The Traveler, you were/are so active here that you really deserved it!

This truly is a historic day for Acanthite, as, today, none of the original crew are mods.

First off, congratulations to the new mods.

Magma King, I remember when you were Scorpiro. You were regarded as just another member back then. But since then, I have seen you blossom from just an average member into one of our most esteemed members, going from "just a guy who like competitive battling" to an indispensible member. This is a just reward for all you have done here.

Count Splatula, you need no introduction. You are, and have always been, one of Acanthite's best-known and best-loved members. You've contributed so very much to the fangame. By the way, :darren:. Anyway, many of us will agree with me in the respect that your appointment as a moderator today has been long-overdue.

The Traveler, for a member that joined just two months ago, your rise has been absolutely meteoric - my new nickname for you is the "Lionel Messi* of Acanthite" because out of nowhere, this amazing new member joins, becomes a staff member within weeks, and then a mod in two months. Absolutely brilliant, and a shining example for all newbies, at Acanthite or otherwise. (I comsider a "newbie to have joned within the last three months.)

And finally, Back on Track, I am truly indebted to you, as is the rest of the forum. For all you've done, sincerely, we thank you. Having become a mod in November 2006, you have always been faithful to Acanthite. You're the one who lured me over from TCOD.

Welcome everyone! This means I am actually the senior mod. :P Huh. Go figure.

On a side note, my job is now much less work :P

Congratulations Magma King, Count Splatula and The Traveler on your promotions! I'm happy for all three of you, and Box of Fail as well.
