Hi all,
We're going to run out of bandwidth within the next 18 or so hours, so we'll probably be down for a few days. Our plan is to actually move to a new server tomorrow - if not tomorrow, early next week - which will allow us more bandwidth so we won't keep running out.
Anyway, this is just a heads-up so nobody freaks out when the site goes down yet again.

Howcome the bandwidth is still so huge? I thought getting rid of fun & games would've stopped that. :S

Yeah, when Fun & Games still existed, it was the only place where I made comments. Now that it's gone, my posting has increased in all of the other threads on this forum.
Hey everyone, our host has given us a bailout for a couple of days and offered an obvious solution to our problem. We'll be dealing with this as soon as is possible and hopefully we'll be able to see out the rest of the month (no guarantees on that, depends how much we have left once the solution is implemented). I'm glad you found a solution to the problem. I really hope the forum will keep working, at least until the end of the month.

Whilst bandwidth is still an issue, I can assure you that that's the least of my worries. More work on the site would only put more pressure on the server and that's something I'm not willing to do.
Hi all, apologies for the double-post but this is regarding a move. I'm currently making a copy of the forum and all its contents ready to move onto a new server, possibly tomorrow - as a result I don't want any files coming on or off the server, so for the time being, avatar uploads have been disabled. This is only temporary, though, no worries.
