Here's a question I hope will get answered soon:
Will the Jotho Dex be affected by the introduction of 3rd and 4th Gen Pokemon? If it is, then I can see two more Kimiko Girls in Ecruteak. One with Leafeon and the other with Glaceon.

I never got the chance to get Ho-Oh because my game was stolen before I could catch Entei, which refused capture!:angry:

I think the Johto Dex should stay the same and Johto remain unchanged (Pokemon-wise), and things like the Kimono Girls and all that change after the National Dex.

I doubt they'll change the Johto Dex. (More like I hope they don't)

They didn't for Fr/Lg.

Acanthite should come out right before this so you can play through the prequel then go right into the next game

Yes, except it's doubtful Acanthite will come out before HG/SS. And we may have to make changes anyway.

The Johto Dex should be the same as it was in Gold/Silver. Maybe the PokeRadar would make an appearance and we could find some Hoenn or even Sinnoh Pokemon with the help of that device. As for Acanthite, there is a lot that still needs to be done and to release it before HeartGold and SoulSilver comes out would be an impossibility.

WHOA!!! Professor Elm's Lab looks cool. It even has stairs.

These new photos are brilliant!
The improved graphics are very much like how FR&LG were better than R&S!
Plus, one of them shows the main character being followed by a Chikorita, if this means that your starter Pokémon follows you everywhere, like in Yellow version, this game looks set to be AAAMMMAAAZZZIIINNNGGG!!!!!

Nope, they did not disappoint, then again it's too early to tell. All I have to say is that if they are going to put that much detail throughout the entire game, it would be a real worthwhile remake.
