Uh, Chikorita's leaf has text on it.
I plan on choosing Totodile, as it's ability to learn Ice attacks have been useful against Clair in the originals.
Now to plan the rest of my main team...
EDIT: I also need to remind myself not to run away from any other shinies I find. I really embarrased myself by running away from a shiny Tentacool in Gold.

I think you can keep your sprite as it is, since you can see Kamon standing outside the lab (on the left side, hidden behind the mailbox). He still has red hair and such, so I guess you don't have to change it. Maybe some details, but that's it.

I wonder if they will have new animations? For 1-251, I think they should have the original Crystal animations. I always thought they were the best. I always loved watching Typhlosion roar.^_^

Revamped versions, I hope. :P It'd be bizaare if we had Crystal sprites for every Pokémon 1-251, and then everyone else is DPPt. Also, hilarious.

Defense Curl + Rollout + Thick Fat + Good stats + EV trained = Whitney's Miltank = Hard <_<
And I always used Gastly, so Scrappy is annoying too :P

It would be hilarious. I would like them to be similar though; they wouldn't have to be frame-by-frame animations anymore. They can have DP sprites and just move more naturally. ..Unless the Platinum animations already do.

Haha I remember my older brother spazing out because he couldn't beat her. If I remember right once you beat her she doesn't give you a badge you have to beg her...

Yeah, she starts crying and you can't get the badge until the the junior trainer talks to you. My friend told me about it and I couldn't believe it. I lol'd.^_^
