Have you been using the PokeRadar?
If not, that would explain why you can't find a Trapinch.
On another note, I might be able to get you one for the Turtwig.
I needed one in my Pokedex, too, so I looked and you have to use the PokeRadar on Rt. 228. I'll eventually get it.
I have been using the poke radar but no luck, whenever you get one just tell me, I'll be happy to trade with you. ^^
