In Pokémon Diamond Version, is there any way to gain Munchlax's Pokédex sighting entry without having to encounter one at a Sweet Honey tree - which is rare enough as it is?

There must be a Trainer somewhere who owns one, because I have it in my Pokédex and I've never encountered a wild one. Sorry, I know it's not very helpful, but that's all I can say, really.

When you go to Mt. Coronet to defeat Team Galactic for the last time, you will be in a double battle (you rival is your parnter in this battle) against Mars and Jupiter. (If you haven't made it this far, sorry for spoiling it for you. I'm just trying to help.) The first Pokemon your rival will send out will be a Munchlax.
If getting that far takes too long, here's two more options: 1) have someone else trade you a Munchlax or 2) get a female Snorlax from someone else, give it the Full Incense (which you find in Veilstone City), take to the Daycare Center in Solaceon town (which a male Snorlax or another male Pokemon with the same Egg-type), go back after a number of steps to get a egg, and the Pokemon that hatches from the egg will be a Munchlax.

Eh, just trying to make sure - wasn't sure if seeing a double-battle partner's Pokémon would register it in the 'Dex. Thanks, though.

Obtain the National Dex by seeing all pkmn and head north from the boat to the left of the Fight Area to get to the Resort Area, I think, and go to the right and walk into the mountain when you reach it. Go inside, blah blah. Then head to the Survival Area, I think, finishing the triangle, talk to the friendly chracter and go see the pile of fat \\\\\\\'n\\\\\\\' molten stones...
