Firstly, my apologies for the lack of updates on the front page. We're currently in waiting for the release of a new and upgraded site courtesty of webmaster and admin Cipher who we all love and adore (when he isn't dishing out warnings left, right and centre if you're a rulebreaker, of course!).



All work is taking place on the http://www.pokemonacanthite.com/forum/index.php itself so go there and sign up if you haven't already as I won't be updating this page until the new site is finished. Recent updates include trainer sprite work, information on Burmy's Cyber Cloak (and sprites), a few new maps and more. Additionally, thanks to Wichu, we have a new Expedition Battle system for the game. More on this later!



What you have to look forward to:

- Brand new site

- Scripting info

- More sprites and maps

- New redesigns of Acanthite Pokémon

- Updated moves and abilities information

- The release of the new and MUCH improved Acanthite Trading Card Game series

- Much, much more as we work towards this long overdue demo!!



Of course, we need you to contribute ideas and critique, so stroll on down to the forum and engage in the development. Every post with a useful comment lets us know exactly what we need to strive for. So help us out!

Exciting times, just curious to weather or not the new website will be more maintained as the current site has a serious lack of updates? :)

I'm hoping it will be. I'm anxious for all of these updates also. Especially the updated concepts.

More design remakes? More card remakes? Another new website?

If we keep going in circles nothing will get done. Can we have some sort of assurance that we won't see any revamping for a while after this? :P

Site revamps are just par the course. The current site obviously has outdated information and the new set up will better provide the new info :)

The old designs are obviously not as good as they could be, and the new card format allows for better detail and shows off our flashy new designs more suitably ;) So sometimes, one step back has been necessary for two steps forwards. We're just ensuring everything fulfils potential and I say our staff are doing a very good job of making that happen.

No objections there. I just want to emphasize that our last revamp was rather recent, and maybe we should have the revamp following this one after the demo comes out. But of course, delaying a good game is better than rushing a crappy one.
