OK, while messing around with GIMP, I made a front cover for the novel that I am writing. It's kind of a work in progress, I wanted to add a pair of demonic eyes and a few rips to it, but couldn't figure out how to make it look professional.
Feedback is appreciated and welcomed.
I'd pick that up. THen of course, read the panel for the description of the book. But I would pick it up, which says something :)
Dotn add anything, books dont need to be littered with pretty and appealing images, they just need to look nice and have a flow ~ to it
I fixed it a little, added an effect which I think looks good.
The color is good, but the huge wavy black border just ruins it.
I would still pick it up

It's kind of off centre anyway, so I'll have to redo it (again )
I'm glad that people would pick it up.
It means... something :P
I never read the story, but It looks good. I hope it gets published.

As do I.
Which reminds me, I have to write some more of it. D:
Have you tried to fade the eyes so that you have to look REALLY hard to see them? Just a suggestion.
Anyway, I love the cover. I really like the leather-like one.(tan)
I never read the story either...But I would also pick up the book, because the cover looks awesome.

I don't have eyes to fade into though
And I've scrapped that idea.
Yes. Leathery is good for a book set in a medieval-esque world.
In this case, i guess its ok to judge a book by its cover
