i've seen a lot of people with 1 or more acanthite badges, but where do you get them, and what do you have to do for it?!

First of all these badges are for the acanthite league. If you want to join the league and earn some badges follow these instructions:
Click on "Pokemon Video Games" on the main forum index
Then "Battle Arena"
Then the thread titled "The Acanthite League"

Make sure to read the first post of the thread in its entirety before posting in the thread.

btw, do you have to fight them with online wi-fi connections and a ds with diamond/pearl or platinum?

You fight them with shoddy battle. And I am almost positive you have no idea what that is.

For a second I thought the thread title said, "WHERE CAN YOU GET ACANTHITE?!" and my heart stopped for a second.

You can get the badges by participating in the Acanthite League. Once you sign up, download Shoddy and create a team. I can't give a link here but I can give a link that leads to the link.

Oh, and after you picked your username be sure to put it in the last thread that I showed you, so we can recognize you. :D
