Ten weeks ago I took possibly one of the most important series of tests in my life: my GCSEs. For those who don't know, these exams are normal exams, although, depending on how I pass them could affect my future career choices.
For the results, I needed to get high grades (B or above) in the subjects I wanted to take, so that I could take the next two years of my education at the school I'm at. I also needed at least a C in English and Maths.
The subjects I wanted to take were Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
The grades I could get, from highest to lowest, were: A*, A, B, C, to pass.
Today, at 9 AM GMT, I recieved my results.
In Maths, I got an A*.
In Biology, I got an A.
In Chemistry, I got an A*.
In Physics, I got an A*.
In History, I got a B.
In Geography, I got a B.
In Religious Studies (blech) I got a C.
In English Language, I got an A.
In English Literature, I got a C.
In German, I got a C.
And in ICT, I got an A.
So all in all, I got the grades I needed to stay on at the school I'm at, so next week I'll be returning.
*sighs with relief*
