I've been wanting to do this. Ever seen a term on the forums, or feel like you've missed a joke? These forums have several running gags which are pretty much explained here.
Acanthite Inc.: A satirical comic strip focusing on the events in the forum. Also focuses on some of the fictional characters on Acanthite.
Acanthite League: The forum's local Pokémon League; held on Shoddy Battle.
Acanthite United: A Pro Evolution Soccer team started by Nyumi, made to mimic the profiles of Acanthite members.
A WINNER IS YOU!: A phrase coined by Batteryman, who found that it was part of the new Mario and Luigi game, it is now a phrase used as an expression of how radiant, amazing, awesome, or epic something is.
Ban Hammer: An imaginary hammer wielded by Count Splatula as his personal tool for banning.
Ban Stick: An imaginary tool for banning users; the warning control panel that mods and admins have access to to ban members.
Battery Ram Brick: Currently the most powerful form of legal brick the used by Batteryman/Yadonking in UStream.
Bibarel Empire: See Hakudo Empire.
Brick'd: An acknowledgement of going off-topic or saying something stupid.
Cipher Day: September 15; started by Kudamon in honor of the former Administrator.
Creativity Bubble: When an author or artist hits a period of inspiration that increases creativity.
Cult of Ustream: A group of people who go onto Ustream Channels run by Acanthite members. New members must pass a difficult initiation test to become full members. Also a fic about said group.
Deathstorm: A fictitious midnight-blue dragon who is currently in four fics. Created by Kudamon and named by Lord X-Giga-X.
Delta Force: A band of Delta Species Pokémon who work together to save the world. Also a fanfiction series.
Demon Pac-Man: What Afti feeds inactive staff to. A powerful and majestic beast, but very much a ravenous one. Insufficient work produced will attract Demon Pac-Man... and he hungers.
Eaten: Banned.
Fail Badge: A special "award" given to those whose failocity is >9000mph.
Fail Day: March 12; A holiday where everyone purposely fails.
Failocity: The rate at which one person fails.
Flamified: With added fire.
Forbidden Question: Asking when/if the game/demo is coming out. You can and will be banned or warned for asking.
FWL: Famous Welcome Line.
Gatogate: In November 2009, Gatomon left Acanthite in a real huff, and cut off all Internet links. She became hated by many.
Glomp: An aggressive way to say "hello".
Golden Cat: A Luxray that was shiny, and is now completely gold. Originally created by Ziggy, when he shouted "GOLDEN CAT!!" whenever Kudamon's Shiny Luxray came out in Shoddy Battle.
Golden Cat Empire: The empire dedicated to Golden Cat. Led by Zadon.
Golden X-Bibarel-X Empire: The current empire combining the Golden Cat Empire, the Hakudo Empire, and the Minions List.
Grammar Nazi: A person that constantly points out spelling mistakes.
Green Text: A method of indicating sarcasm.
Hakudo Empire: AKA the Bibarel Empire; named after and led by Hak and Testudo.
Headkeyboard: Like "facepalm" or "headdesk". Often followed by random letters. Coined by Missingno.7-4468.
Hug: A heartfelt way to say hello or express sympathy.
i hErd U LiEK S&SHrewZ??!11!!!(And other variations in capitalization, punctuation, ect.): Phrase officially created by Sando inspired by the "i herd u liek mudkipz" internet meme, used to describe "lieking" of the Pokemon Sandshrew.
JERKZ: A semi-evil team in the Delta Force series. Also a spinoff of the same series.
Licking: An alternative of "locking" - the thread is closed. Usually accompanied by a picture of Lickitung.
Minions List: Lord X-Giga-X's list of minions; in league with the Hakudo Empire.
Namegate: In April 2009, a thread by Nyumi told people how to make good usernames. The site staff saw it as a flame. The aftermath was Nyumi's leaving for two weeks and his rep plummeting to -22, the lowest in Acanthite history until + Flame Claw + hit -162 as a joke.
Noobgate: In October 2008, Nyumi instructed people to -rep noobs. The backlash is now called Noobgate.
Nyumi Incident: In January 2010, another rep spree by Nyumi caused Cipher and Fangking to remove the rep system, causing an immense backlash. Notably, Nyumi received more support from the public than with Noobgate or Namegate. This was named by Snookapuss in April 2010 in his comic strip Acanthite Inc.
OLO: An exclamation proclaiming how awesome the word actually is; A phrase started by Hak and Missingno; a 'misspelled' version of LOL.
OLO Epidemic: An "epidemic" in which other members place "OLO" in their signatures, user titles, or even in their biographies. Hardy-Junpei made a list of people infected with it.
Organization G-X: The leaders of the Golden X-Bibarel-X Empire. Consists of Lord X-Giga-X, Hak, Missingno.7-4468, Snookiepook, Kudamon, Cipher, Deathstorm, and Ziggy.
Rep Chat: Transfer of short messages over the Reputation system.
Rep Demo: A month-long test started August 14, 2010 to see if users could use the Rep system properly.
Rep Spree: Giving a lot of reps in a short amount of time.
Reputation System: A system with which users could rate one another with comments; Removed on January 30, 2010 and reinstated on August 14, 2010.
Rings the Gong: A phrase used to alert others for thread updates
Shuckleco.: Shuckle Corporation, an organization in league with the Golden Cat Empire. Creates fine quality fake card prints, and makes them. Led by Parson.
Signature Response Epidemic: An epidemic of replying to signature images in one's own signature, quote responses started by Sando, image response started by STT.
Smae: A piece of rye on a plate of goose.
Special Science Class: A group of kind students. Introduced by Hardy-Junpei in his first fake card set.
Stop! It's Hammer Time: Something exclaimed right before the Ban Hammer is swung.
The Hiatus: A term for the period of time when the list of Pokémon on the main site was being edited and thus was on hiatus.
The Uprising: In December 2010, a group of Acanthite members got angry at things that were happening at the forum and the way it was being run. The Uprising received its name when leader Nyuminator and co-leader Kudamon put the lyrics of Uprising, a protest song by Muse, into their signature and bio respectively. The Uprising is still active as of this post.
