My first lucky break ended up coming today. I had a Lv.46 Lucario in my first slot, with Aura Sphere as its most-often-used move, and I was up to the point of facing Dialga. As luck would somehow end up having it, one use of Aura Sphere knocked him down through most of his red zone. One Ultra Ball after that, he was almost caught. When he attacked my Lucario, he ended up missing completely! Then, on the second Ultra Ball, he was caught. Fastest catch time I've had on a Legendary yet!
Mine would have to be my accidental shiny encounter the other day, I was chanining Bidoof when I stepped on the wrong tile which broke my chain at about 17, I was pretty cross and decided to faint the Starly who ruined my chain.
This action activated a new chain with Starly at the time I didn't know and didn't bother looking at the tiles and I was just going to walk off and heal my Pokemon and Sandgem Town. So I start walking off through the grass and then I bump into a wild pokemon! A Wild Shiny Starly! :D:D Which I caught and is now a Staraptar.
I was training my Combee using an EXP Share. I was facing Cynthia for the second time. I had only Combee at level 20 left and my Empoleon, Enperuto. I had no moves left to use on Milotic except Struggle. And I won. I defeated Cynthia, only using Struggle for two or three turns.
Mine would be last week when I was trying to catch Dialga and I managed to get it's HP down to red, with literally 1 pixel left, and I had used ice beam, so it was frozen solid. I caught it with an ultra ball in the next turn!
I Was meeting RegiSteel on Ruby yesterday.
And The only thing I did was FireBlast, he got burn, UltraBall caught!
Giratina, easily.
Blizzard-->Blizzard-->Shadow Ball-->One Dusk Ball...Caught!
And I got Rayquaza with only a half dozen Poké Balls. :P
One of the coolest lucky breaks I've ever had was...I think wednesday. I was on wi-fi and I got a Deoxys for an Eevee egg o.o I kind of felt bad for trading afterword xD;
I think once I caught Palkia while it was in the orange with a regular pokeball about the third time, I couldn't attack it again because I knew I would faint it; so I tried catching it and it worked. (I would've stopped after the 5th ball, though)
I once chucked a Quick Ball at Palkia, and in it went!
I was carrying 25 Ultra, 7 Quick, 10 Timer, 6 Normal, 1 Great, 12 Net, and 1 Master Ball. I fought Uxie, starting off with every Quickball. Then I weakened it to near death (One more Water Gun from the level 26 Bibarrel in my party with Uxie at max Sp. Def. would have killed Uxie). I began using my Pokeballs, then Great ball, then Net balls, then Ultra Balls. Then I used 5 Timer balls. I stalled with flash then used 4 more Timer balls, then, it used struggle and killed itself. This would have been the 71 turns.
