Surely just doing auto lvl 50 would be so much easier? That restriction stops people using Dragonite, Salamence and Tyranitar and also makes some important attacks unavailable.

Well, that would be completely unfair for some people, because some people have some strong Pokemon compared to other peoples Pokemon... this way it will be a whole lot simpler

OR.
Why not just have a normal brawl.
Rules are like that are just lame. Level sure, but banning pokemon ? If they know how to use a Wobbuffet then let them. They shouldn't have to not use something that they took the effort to learn.
Legendary pokemon can be killed just fine and dandy if you ask me and if they train a good legendary that doesn't come above fifty they just let them use it. however I might doubt the player if he/she has a full team of legendarys.....
and items, I've always found that rule to be the most ridiculous. The OHKO's don't always hit if used straight so they shouldn't be banned. I can see how a team of OHKO's users would be annoying if they use brains and strategy with them, but still, you shouldn't punish the gifted for there gifts. I have beaten plenty of OHKO teams and legendarys for that matter so it is NOT impossible just a bit more of a challenge. and isn't a challenge more fun ?
Just an Idea.
and on a side note, I cant be a part of this tournament unfortunately, see I have Seven younger brothers that all have taken a liking to stealing my DS, often releasing some of my pokemon not my better loved ones thank goodness but point is that I don't have my DS at the moment, sometimes it takes me month s to find it again. once it took me a year. Mom yells at them all for it but they just hide it and never tell.

Level 50 all is the exact opposite of that. Clarify your statement because it doesn't make any sense.

Learn? It doesn't take any effort to learn how to use a Wobbuffet.

Some legendary pokemon maybe. But others completely ruin it, much more if it's actually a decent player using them.
and items, I've always found that rule to be the most ridiculous.
[b]What do you mean? Banning of Soul dew, Quick claw, razor fang and Focus band is important, but the Item clause(No more than one of the same item) is completely ridiculous.

No, it really isn't, because people take advantage of this and you end up seeing the same 20 pokemon over and over again. If that's what you consider fun though...

I know what you mean there. :P
