I am curious what monsters you all would want to be. surly you have all thought about it at least once before....

as an example and my entry, This guy here I find rather epic.

also I find that this topic somewhat suits the holiday season this month.

While your at it feel free to state how your fear/respect/love of your chosen monster influenced/influencing your Halloween costume.

My top monster has made no contribution to my costume unfortunately, a costume to be worthy of the creature I have shown you would be out of my budget.

Werewolf, definitely. But not the general idea of a werewolf, I have my own ideas for it. Able to transform at will, form complex pack structures, gain power from moonlight, ect.

A Chinese (Imperial) Dragon, no doubt. Those things can fly, control water, change size at will....they're basically gods in Chinese mythology; it's only the monstrous qualities of the Western dragon that let me even categorize the Chinese Dragon as a monster, albeit loosely....

Actually, that would be an awesome costume; a humanoid Chinese dragon. I ought to get to work on that before Halloween comes around....

So, basically, the original idea of werewolves? (Western opinions of werewolves differ greatly than the original myth)

Anywho what way, I really like the idea of like a dark saint or something. My dad has an awesome witch doctor costume, too bad I can't wear it, that was amazing.

There's also a gag I wanna do based on Monty Python's the Holy Grail, you know, with the monks? I think I'll save that for college though...
