The lab had been transformed into a battlefield. Tables and chairs were ablaze. Holes had been created in the walls, ceiling and floors. Kudamon, Hak, Zadon, Snookie, and Missingno were backing up toward the arches, which were generated portals.
Magma King shot a sphere of magma at them. Kudamon created a psychic barrier, which blocked the attack.
“These guys are becoming real pains in the neck,” Hak groaned.
“More than me?” Snookie asked.
“Shut up,” Kudamon answered. “We have to enter the portals.”
“Right!” Zadon agreed. He turned around and leapt into one of the portals.
“No!” Fangking shouted. “We have to stop them now.”
“I wouldn’t do so,” Missingno argued. He pointed his finger toward the portal Zadon went through. The arch began surge with energy.
“What are you doing, Nate?” Hak asked.
“We can’t let them follow us,” Missingno answered. At that moment, the arch overloaded with energy, and it exploded. The portal generated by the arch disappeared. “Go guys! I’ll destroy the arches so they can’t follow us through!”
“Right!” Kudamon agreed. He then jumped into a portal generated by another arch. The barrier created by Kudamon disappeared.
“Kudamon, you idiot!” Missingno shouted. “It won’t be effective if I have no defense!”
“You still got us!” Snookie responded. He then doubled in size and rushed toward Count Splatula.
“Now it’s my turn,” Kalas responded. His moustache grew arms, which attacked Snookie.
“Oh, that’s so not fair,” Snookie complained. Snookie was hit by the moustache and fell back. The impact resulted in the destruction of the arch generating the portal Kudamon entered. It also knocked Hak and Missingno into different portals.
“Snookie, you idiot!” Hak shouted as he flew into the portal.
“Whoa,” Snookie commented. “This has got to be one of my worst ideas ever.” He turned to see Fangking, Pyro, and Miltank Man walking toward him.
“Well,” Pyro said, “It looks like you’re the only one still here.”
“No!” Snookie shouted. He ran into a fifth portal.
Count Splatula glared at Pyro, and then said. “Why didn’t you do anything to stop him?”
“I thought that Fangking here would do something,” Pyro answered.
“Oh my god,” Magma King groaned. “Now what are we going to do?”
“I’ll tell you what we’ll do,” Fangking said. He turned toward Testudo, who was tiptoeing toward the back door. “Pyro, you get Testudo before he tries to escape.”
“Right,” Pyro responded. He rushed to toward Testudo.
“Kalas, Count Splatula and Miltank Man,” Fangking continued, “You three enter the portals that weren’t destroyed. We have to figure out what they’re trying to accomplish.”
“Yes sir,” Miltank Man answered. He entered the portal Snookie went through.
“I’ll take Missingno,” Kalas responded. He entered the portal Missingno flew through.
“That leaves me with Hak then,” Count Splatula commented. He entered the portal Hak flew through.
“What about the three of us?” Magma King asked.
“We have to stay here in the city and try to get as much information as we can,” Fangking answered. “One thing that we must do is try to get into that tower of theirs.”
“Right,” Magma King responded. He immediately ducked to avoid being hit by Testudo, who was flung toward one of the malfunctioned arches.
“One Testudo,” Pyro called. “He was way too easy to deal with.”
“Good,” Fangking responded. “Magma King, tie him up and bring him with us. We are going to get as much information as we can out of him.”
“Oh, I’m going to enjoy this,” Magma King answered. He pulled a rope from his pocket and walked toward Testudo.
“Pyro,” Fangking said, “Go find Kangaskid. We’ll need his help in this, too.”
“What about the Traveler?” Pyro asked.
Fangking sighed, and then answered, “I fear that we won’t be able to convince him to help us.”

The Traveler, Batteryman and whoever else I decide to throw in. Though, the person/people are in the empire, so don't expect you to be in it if you are not in the empire.
