The next day, elevator doors in the tower opened. Two people emerged from the elevator.
One was a crimson Scyther wearing a black robe. The robe had the word “Gaara” written on the back of it. Particles of sand floated around him.
With him was a young woman with a slender body. Her skin was tan, her eyes were brown, and her hair was light brown and straight. Her eyebrow was raised.
“You guys have weird elevator music, Gaarafan,” the woman said to the Scyther.
“Well, the music was Snookie’s decision,” Gaarafan groaned.
“Snookie?” the woman asked.
“He’s one of our currently absent leaders,” Gaarafan answered.
He was about to explain more, but he stopped when he noticed Batteryman leaning on a nearby wall.
“Batteryman, what’s up?!” Gaara exclaimed.
“Nothing,” Batteryman responded.
“He’s looks really strong,” the woman said.
“He’s one of the most powerful people in the empire,” Gaarafan responded.
Batteryman turned his attention to the woman.
“So you must be the new recruit,” he said. “What is your name?”
“Uh… my name is Starr,” the woman answered.
“Uh, Batteryman,” Gaarafan asked, “don’t you have to be somewhere in a few minutes?”
“Nope,” Batteryman answered.
At that moment, Omega appeared in front of Batteryman.
“Don’t consider skipping your training while I’m around,” Omega advised Batteryman.
He wrapped his arm around Batteryman’s neck, and the two of them disappeared in a cloud of dark energy.
“Batteryman must be scared of facing Omega in combat,” Gaarafan chuckled. “But then again, who isn’t?”
“I don’t understand,” Starr shrugged.
“You’ll understand soon enough,” Gaarafan said.
Minutes later, the two of them entered the Dark Room. Traveler was there waiting.
“Hello men,” he said. “Batteryman, today you are going to assist Omega in learning another one of the Eternal Black Dooms: Dark Frame.”
“What is ‘Dark Frame’ exactly?” Omega asked.
“Time around the opponent will become sped up,” Traveler explained. “What seems like seconds to them will actually be minutes.”
“Why do you need me?” Batteryman exclaimed in fear. “Aren’t there other powerful people in this empire?”
"Batteryman, without the leaders here, you're technically the third most powerful person in this tower,” Traveler admitted. “If you can last 5 minutes against Omega here, imagine how you could last against Fangking and his goons."
“But what if I can’t last 5 minutes?” Batteryman asked.
“Silence coward!” Omega shouted. “If you’re too afraid to fight me, you won’t last long in this empire. You might as well leave.”
“No way, Omega,” Batteryman rebelled. “I can total handle my position in this empire, and I can handle you!”
“Okay then,” Traveler answered from behind Batteryman.
“How did you slip past me?” Batteryman responded in astonishment.
“By using the power of Dark Frame, of course,” Traveler answered. “Okay Omega, let’s see you try it.”
“Okay Omega,” Batteryman shouted, “bring it on!”
“You asked for it!” Omega exclaimed. “Dark Frame: Omega Level!”
At that instant- from Batteryman’s perspective- Omega vanished.
“What the….” Batteryman gasped.
“Suddenly, he was attacked by a barrage of dark energy. He collapsed from severe pain within 15 seconds. Omega reappeared as soon as Batteryman fell.
“I can’t believer it…” Batteryman groaned. “I couldn’t last one minute. How can I face Fangking if I could only survive 15 seconds against Omega?”
“You’re wrong about that,” Traveler responded.
“What do you mean?” Batteryman answered.
“Like I said,” Traveler explained, “time around you is sped up. What seemed like 15 seconds was actually 15 minutes.”
“Fifteen minutes?” Batteryman gasped. “No way…..”
“I have to hand it to you,” Omega replied. “I actually thought that you would go down after three minutes. You’re a lot stronger than you think.”
At that moment, Omega lost consciousness and fainted.
“Omega, are you alright?” Batteryman asked.
“He’ll be fine,” Traveler answered. “He just needs to rest.”
Meanwhile, Fangking, Pyro and Magma King entered a room in the facility. Inside the room was a man wearing dark brown plated armor typing on a keyboard.
“How’s the research coming, Kangaskid?” Fangking asked the man.
“Not good,” Kangaskid answered. “There is nothing in the system about their powers or their weaknesses.”
“Rats!” Pyro shouted furiously. “These guys are truly an enigma.”
“There’s one thing I did notice,” Kangaskid responded. “The video footage from their work room was cut off after a certain date.”
“And what day would that be?” Magma King asked.
“The day of the explosion,” Kangaskid answered.
“Now that’s interesting,” Fangking responded.
At that moment, a bald man burst into the room with an empty bowl.
“Do you guys have any cereal?” the man asked.
“NO!” Pyro roared. “Now get out of here!”
The man frantically dashed out of the room.
“What the crap?” Magma King asked. “What’s with people asking for cereal in moments like these?”
“I don’t know,” Fangking answered. “But we’ll worry about that later.”
