I was looking at stuff on the computer when I found a tutorial on how to make 3D Pokemon by klnothincomin on Serebii. I had nothing better to do, so I decided to try it. I went to the tab that I had Bulbapedia on, and saw I was on Nidorino's page, so I made it. I'm proud of it, and it turned out better than I expected. However, the tutorial was for Photoshop, and I use Paint.NET, so it was a little dicey. Also, I don't own a tablet. So, here is my 3D Nidorino!
It makes me think of the Pokemon Stadium graphics. I plan on trying to make more, and if you guys like em' enough, I might take requests.
These are my works:
I quite like it mate, it's not completely 3D, it's kinda half-way there and I love the style. Definately continue, it's awesome.
Thank you! I understand it's not as 3D as a console game or on a card, but neither was the Heatran in klnothincomin's tuorial. My next project shall be: Nidorina!
Haha! I have made Nidorina! My Next Project shall be Bibarel!

She's pretty cool too ;) I like the claws, they look pretty realistic.
Love it, although their ears... Kind of... Uh... Strange, to be frank.
I also tried that tutorial made by klnothincomin of serebii. My comment on Nidorino is: use the Lasso Tool to select the parts in which sunlight strikes most.
EDIT: If your using an image, instead of drawing the lineart from scratch, trace the image with the Line Tool. (That's what I did to my Darkrai)
Thanks for the cc, guys. Éspeonature, I understand that the ears look strange. You've just gotta understand one thing, though: I'm making these by looking at the sugimori art and various sprites on Bulbapedia to get an Idea of what is needed, and also trying to give it my own pose. Plus, I'm using a mouse, and it's kinda hard for me to make big things look perfect with a mouse. And Hardy, thanks for the advice, but I have two things to point out: I couldn't do that for Highlighting because to shade, I add layers of colors darker than the one before. When I tried the opposite for highlighting, It wasn't good. And if I doit it without blur-blending it in right, it'll look bad. And, also, I want to get better, so getting the lineart from another pic won't help. Anyway, here's Bibarel!
I like it, but to me, the ear-mask-thing is a little off.
Also, No one post in the section that says "Only thread owner votes here! No one else!" I put that there to remain unbiased when it shows tha percentages on the votes, because I don't want to seem egotistical by calling them "Good," but I don't want to call them bad or dicey. So, please, no one vote in "Only thread owner votes here! No one else!"
