I actually saw this a little before you posted this, Pookie. All I can say is, "Wow, someone really needs to do better research."
Now, I want you guys to understand firstly that I'm a Christian. I'd like you to understand secondly that in no way shape or form do I think that Pokemon is Satanic (well, obviously; I'm on a Pokemon forum). Most Christians think that Pokemon is completely harmless, unless it becomes the most important thing in your life, which should always be God.
I think that this guy just doesn't like Pokemon for whatever reason and is trying (rather unsuccessfully) to give some sort of proof that it's evil. He uses obscure references at best in his effort, which altogether come to a very unconvincing argument. I mean, come on, channeling evil Pokemon spirits through Pokemon stuff?
Now, there may be some truth in the Pokemon-related violence that he mentioned, in the same way that some people died because they confused a game with reality. But as long as you keep that distinction between game and reality, I think that you'll be fine.
And then his saying that what you do with your brain will affect your ultimate destination, I believe that there's a little bit of truth in that. I believe that a true Christian heart will dislike sin, whether mental or physical, and a truly changed person will try to clear their mind of sin. I'm not saying that they won't make mistakes, but always there is forgiveness and a chance to turn from it. So, regarding forgiveness, I disagree with what he said.
But the major point I'm trying to make here is that this guy doesn't represent most Christians. So don't flame him for being a Christian; if you're going to flame him at all, just argue that his arguments are a little off. Not that I'm encouraging you to flame him or anything; he believes strongly enough about this that I doubt that anything you say will change his mind. And besides, the Bible states that you shouldn't provoke a person who believes that something is sinful, though you may believe otherwise. If he believes that it's a sin, then it's a sin to him personally. But I must admit, he should probably be more accepting of Pokemon, as he has no real proof against it.
(Sorry for the text wall, I just wanted to make a distinction between this guy's opinions and Christianity.)
Not blaming christians at all. Just blaming this idiotic douchebag. Yes, I found his website, and I will not show the link to anyone. I'm athiest anyways, so I don't give a damn about what he thinks. It not like I actually care. I just think its absolutely hilarious to listen to his bizarre and absurd claims.

what was he looking at when he learned that pokemon masters go to the spirit relm and chanel spirits through there body.(sigh) if pokemon didnt use the word evolution we would not have this problem because it is used out of contex with the actual definition of the term which is the chang of a entire species over time as oposed to its meaning in pokemon which is the growth and maturing of an individual over the span of its life. i except the theory of evolution and hope to study it more but i see it as the way god ceated life which actualy makes more sense than let there be animals like but that is my opinion so dont wast your time trying to tell me that it cant be because i see it every day and i dont see animals poping out of thin air
