I can't believe this thing is even up. A whole thread based off of something that doesn't even need to be up. I know that maybe Pookiesnook might have been offended by some people not understanding his point of view on religion, but this doesn't really need to be up. When you question someone else's faith, there's some arguments abound. I understand all of your views, but please keep your views to yourselves to keep the peace between everyone. It doesn't really matter what you believe right? I would've never guessed Pook had a view on this until he posted this. Proof that there's no difference between us.
I'm not questioning anyones faith. I was simply pointing out my view on religion. If you find that offensive, then understand that it is a preference to be religious, and that everyone sees it difference. I want to keep this up, so I can see everyone else's views on religion. Its not a bad thing to be curious, is it?
This is probably going to be my last post on this topic because i don't want to be part of an arguement on Religious views if one was to start.

In reply to Kalas' post, I realize that God isn't the one doing these deeds for us, or even putting the food on our table, but I still believe that God is inside every one of us.

I'm completely fine if you don't agree with this btw.
I guess it isn't all that bad to be curious. It's just that a lot, and I mean a LOT of people are very sensitive in this certain area, and people can very easily be insulted, even if it is just your opinion. I'm just questioning if it was the right choice to put this up.
I really only put this up just to share my views, and if you read, I DID hurt someone. I just can't let it out to anyone, so I let it out here. Then people just started posting.
My view is that there is something out there, I'm just not strict on any one religion. If anything, in a way, I'm half Athiest, half Christian. Does that make sense?
It could. But if you believe there is any divinity out there, you are NOT atheistic in any way. Im thinking you are misinterpreting atheism as 'relgion-less'.
Actually, I agree completely with Missingno.

One of my views is that God is in ultimate control over the world, but humans have control over what choices they will make. Humans aren't robots; God doesn't somehow take control of people to accomplish His will. However, I believe that He is in control over the things that humans have no control over. I think this is how God is in ultimate control but humans still have free choice. (This is still a work in progress; I'm always trying to figure things out. And this is one of the most confusing parts to Christianity.)

Now, I know I've been posting a lot about religious stuff recently. The reason being that, well, for one I'm interested in this stuff.
Secondly, I feel that good religious debate is healthy. It introduces us to new ways of thinking, whether or not we agree with these ideas. But the one thing I can't stand is when people become disrespectful with a viewpoint. No matter whether we believe that a view is wrong, we should be mature enough to think about it and respond respectfully (something I've been trying to do, whether successful or not). Not necessarily accusing anyone in here of this, just giving reasons.
Thirdly, I really care for you guys. I give my views to (in my opinion) save you from a terrible eternity. Whether you listen to me is up to you, but I offer it in complete good will. And if you disagree, then I feel sorry for you, but I respect you. I'll still be a friend.
To lift a quote from Angels & Demons, faith is a gift I have yet to receive. My faith in science tells me God can't exist; my faith in humanity makes me believe there might be a little bit of God in everyone.

It might be an idea for me to say I have had a little bit to drink due to the occasion. :P But what you read above is still what I believe.
