These are just some pokemon I think would do good in the Super Smash Bros. Series.

Giratina

Giratina would be Like most powerhouses: strong, but oh so slow! However, He would be quite similar to Zelda as well.

Altered Forme:

B= Slash: Giratina thrusts it's wings forward, striking it's foe with sharp wing-cones.

Side B= Earth Power: Giratina stomps its feet, causing the ground to shake forth, pushing back its foe and dealing damage!

Up B=Dragon Dive: Giratina shoots up, and comes crashing down in one direction(preferrably the one where the land is!).

Down B= Forme Change: Need I explain?

Origin Forme:

B= Hyper Beam: Giratina fires a forceful beam from its mouth that knocks it's opponent's away! Unfortunately, It needs charging before it shoots, and Giratina is immobilized if it hits.

Side B= Dragon Rush: Giratina flies straight into the enemy at full speed.

Up B= Dragon Dive(see Altered Forme)

Down B= Forme Change: Need I explain?

Final Smash(Both)= Shadow Force: Giratina dissappears as the screen darkens and the background goes black. WIthout warning, Giratina appears in a flash of purple light huge and in the background, and flaps its wings/wigles its tentacles as it roars and shadowy waves that do damage come off of it. After so much time has passed, It dissappears, the lighting is made right, and it reappears(normal size!) on the stage.

Parasect

Alright, before I get hate posts, I'm not saying Parasect should be a fighter. I'm not insane.
"Well, maybe you are..."
Shut Up!
... ... ...Anyway, I'm saying it would be a Pokeball. After a player summons it, it would start scuttling about crab-style, and when someone touched it, one of three things would happen:

1. Mushroom effect happens and you or one whoever else touches it gets big.

2. Poison Mushroom effect happens and you or whoever else touches it gets small.

3. Metroid effect(thrower is never affected) and whoever touches it has it latch onto thier backs and sap energy, slowly causing the mushroom to grow and slowing the afflicted player until it dissappears.

4.Suggested by Éspeonature: If you attack Parasect (Not physically) then it will use Spore (Send out a cloud of spores) and decrease the speed and damage dealt by the players in range of the Spore.

If anyone has other Ideas, feel free to post. You also can comment on other posts.
Lloyd from Tales of Symphonia... or Sheena. They're both awesome, and great melee fighters, so yeah :D

Too lazy to do the technical work >.>

Giratina would be a cool person to play as... Nice idea ;)
That's what I call a nice fighter, since I am quite partial to Gyarados, as you know ;). I also like the Idea for Parasect, thank you!

Also, a few things about Gyarados:
I think That you ment for Dragonbreath t be Down B.

Maybe you should switch your b and down b, since It doesn't have an attack that works as a low-damage shield.

For your up b, unless you'd say Gyarados can jump real high, like Kirby or yoshi, I think you should make it more like the official up b's, which(with yoshi as an exception) is normally the recovery move.

But that's just me.
Gardevoir, as a Character this time.

B = Psybeam. Like Bowser's Flames, can be held, but get weaker the longer used.

B + FWD = Hypnosis. Close Blast attack, like Lucario's Force Palm. Sends the enemy to lala land.

B + UP = Teleport. Need I explain?

B + DWN = Protect. Protects against one attack, and must attack once to use it again.

Final Smash = Dream Eater. Sends all in line to sleep, and drains their dreams to heal her and damage them.

Then, one other.

Arcanine

B = Slash. Like Giratina's up above.

B + FWD = Fire Blast. Spurts a burst of fire at the enemy for max damage.

B + UP = Aerial Ace. Propels the user upwards, and hits anything going up as well as down from the attack.

B + DWN = Dig. Digs underground and avoids attacks for 2 seconds. Then, pops up under a random opponent for damage.

Final Smash = Flare Blitz. Charges forward in a line and damages all in the line. Cannot recover if goes off the side of the stage.

There ya go. ^^
Is Arcanine's FS supposed to be like Ganondorf's?

Monferno

Smash Up - Headbutt

Smash Forward - Mega Punch

Smash Down - Low Dynamic Punch

Basic Attack - Double Slap

B - Ember - Similar to Ness' PK Fire, but the opponent can move and the burn would still be on them. Gradual damage for 3 seconds.

B Forward - Mach Punch - An attack that rushes to the closest opponent (in front of you) and jabs them. Mid damage.

B Up - Tail Whip - Swings its tail upward to attack. Can grab onto ledges. Low damage.

B Down - Torment - Makes opponents within a short range so mad they slip and hit their head. Mid-low damage.

Final Smash - Flame Wheel - Monferno lites itself on fire and spins around. You obtain double speed and can still control yourself for about a minute. Mid-high damage.

Kirby Hat - Kirby would obtain a flaming tail and that neck piece.

Yay for being more thorough!^_^
The only Pokemon I'd like to see is Mewtwo (back). With the same moveset.

Here was an old entry I had on Lloyd Irving:

Lloyd Irving - Tales of Symphonia
Who HASN'T though to Lloyd once in their life for SSB?...if you've played ToS.
Description - His regular costume with Eternal Swords. Statistically, he's all attack and little defense. High Priority is seen on him and average weight. He is a bit above average speed, but damage is a bit on the low side. His swords have average sword range.

Basic A - Lloyd swings his swords. It will go three times, the last, he jumps very minorly and does a single spin.

Tilt A Side - Lloyd does a horizontal slash with his right-hand sword.
Tilt A Up - Lloyd swings his sword in the form of a Tomahawk Chop.
Tilt A Down - Lloyd stabs similar to Marth.

Side Smash - Lloyd moves both swords to one side of his body and does two slashes, one after the other.
Up Smash - Lloyd jumps a little (Short hop height) and swings both swords in a 180 degree arc above him.
Down Smash - Lloyd faces towards/away from the Camera and makes downward slashes on either side of him.

Neutral Air - Lloyd does a Marth, simply put.
Forward Air - Lloyd swings the blue blade.
Backwards Air - Lloyd swings the red blade at a lower arc. (Spike)
Up Air - Lloyd swings both swords in a higher arc.
Down Air - Lloyd Slashes both swords below him simultaneously. Anybody caught in it will move in the arc they were hit (If they were to the bottom left, they will move to the left and down)

B: Demon Fang - Lloyd creates a shockwave that behaves like Luigi's Fireball
B-Side: Sword Rain - Lloyd stabs 4 times and then makes a final stab, the last moving him in the direction he is facing
B-Up: Tempest - Lloyd Spins several times in the air, holding his swords out to damage any character than he spins into. He moves in the direction indicated by the control stick
B-Down: Beast - Lloyd Slashes with his sword, which creates a giant beast shaped avatar appear and knock back the target.

Final Smash: Falcon Crest - Anybody around Lloyd gets pulled into him and he makes an uppercut, knocking the enemy into the air. Lloyd jumps beside them, sword above him, and knocks them to the ground.
Espeon, you do know that there aren't two side Bs, right?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Don't you think that's a bit off topic Kirant, seeing as Lloyd isn't a Pokemon?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Gible

Basic Attack - Smack

Side Smash - Headbutt - Flings itself forward headfirst.
Up Smash - Dragon Rage - Spits a blue flame upward.
Down Smash - Sand Attack - Flings sand at surrounding enemies.

B - Dig - Digs into the ground and pops out when you press b again. Falls through thin platforms.
Side B - Bite - similar to Headbutt, but Gible opens it's mouth and it's more powerful.
Down B - Draco Burn - Creates a flaming shield that spins around Gible. You cannot move or attack, but any enemy that touches it gets heavy damage.
Up B - Fly (Unsuccessful) - Gible flaps it's arms in an attempt to fly, but just makes an extra jump.

Final Smash - Draco Meteor - Gible jumps off screen and a giant meteor flies down and and destroys the stage. Your enemies then fall down to a wide platform and can get hit by tiny Draco Meteor bits. The screen then flashes white and everybody goes back to the stage.

Gible Stage - Turnback Cave A Length of ground that goes off screen and five smaller platforms that you can't fall through. Occasionally a Gabite will run on stage and create an earthquake, Or a Golbat will create a whirlwind.

Kirby Hat - Kirby would get a shark fin on his back, and all of his skin would turn that dark blue-green color.

Pokeball Pokemon - Starly line

Starlys, Staravias, or Staraptors will fly out of the Pokeball, and create some Double Teams. Each Pokemon will create a different amount of copies, each worth different damage.

Starly = 5 Damage and 15 Copies
Staravia = 10 Damage and 10 Copies
Staraptor = 20 Damage and 5 Copies
I got one:

Celebi

Basic Attack- Quick attack- just a really fast tackle

Side Smash- Razor Leaf- Shoots razor leaves forward into any enemies in the way.
Up Smash- Confusion- dazes the enemy for a little while, doing damage too.
Down Smash- Teleport- [no comment]

B- Fly- Disappears off stage for 3 seconds, then randomly shoots toward an opponent like a missile.
Side B- Leaf Storm- creates a minor vortex of razor leaves around Celebi, damaging any nearby opponent.
Up B- Solarbeam- blasts a beam of energy, but makes Celebi weak for a little while.
Down B--Ancientpower- Summons an ancient power and hurts all enemies nearby, all the while powering up your teammates. After attack, Celebi is also hurt.

Final Stage- Time Travel- restores health to everyone from what it was 30 seconds ago, but does 3x the damage to enemies by how much was restored.

Basically, Celebi creates a vortex in the background, and there's some rumbling. Celebi is in the center of the screen, arms out, head down, and eyes closed. Celebi, along with everyone else starts glowing, initiating the healing thingy. but then, Celebi opens it's eyes, unleashing the power upon the enemies.

I say, it would be mighty fine to have Celebi on your team in a battle.
Not entirely sure if we're able to post characters out of the Pokemon series, but I'm going to give it a shot... I frequent a couple sites devoted to doing stuff like this, so I'll copy-paster one of them. Say hello to Gooey from the Kirby Series! :D
[/size]
---

Name: Gooey
Quality Picture: Click Here!
Origin: Kirby's Dream Land 2
Date of Origin: December 12, 1994
Home Stage: Hyper Zone
Taunt ^: Gooey sticks out his tongue and licks across his face.
Taunt v: Gooey faces the foreground as all of the partner characters pop out from behind him. (These "partner characters" being Kine, Rick, Coo, Nago, ChuChu, and Pitch.)
Taunt < or >: Gooey closes his eyes and sticks out his tongue at the direction he is facing/the button is pressed.
Victory Taunt A: Gooey does a slight imitation of Kirby’s boss victory dance, complete with a dramatic pose to complete the dance.
Victory Taunt B: Gooey gives a happy, yet shocked look, similar to his mini-game victory from Kirby’s Dream Land 3.
Victory Taunt C: A pile of snow crashes down on the foreground while Gooey is looking upwards. Gooey is then covered by this snow, and a hat drops on top of him, while his eyes open and tongue drapes out of his mouth. This is similar to the cutscene before world 5 of Kirby’s Dream Land 3.
Losing Stance: Gooey looks exasperated, and very disappointed, similar to his mini-game loss from Kirby’s Dream Land 3.
Entrance: Gooey flies to his starting position in the form of a shadow.
Kirby Hat: Kirby gains a hat similar to Gooey, with a tongue draping out of his mouth.
Special Abilities: Gooey is able to wall jump.
Offense: 5/10
Defense: 5/10
Projectile: 4/10
Weight: 3/10
Speed: 6/10
Recovery: 6/10
Throwing Ability: 4/10
Final Smash: 6/10

Standard Attack A: Gooey lashes out forwards with his tongue. This attack has a fairly long, but skinny hitbox, and deals very low damage. [1%-3%]
Standard Attack B: Gooey flattens himself out, elongating himself, which gives him a very wide hitbox, and slightly knocks his opponent upwards about one Kirby, depending on their damage level. [2%-3%]
Standard Attack C: Gooey clenches up for a fraction of a second, and uses his spike ability. This is the finisher of the combo, and deals the most damage, as well as knocks the opponent away. The effect of the spikes is similar to the Unira item in Brawl. [5%-6%]
Repeated Attack: N/A
Dash Attack: Gooey transforms into an arching version of his fireball attack from Kirby’s Dream Land 3. This attack causes fire damage to opponents that are hit by it. The attack stops when Gooey hits the ground. [3%-5%]

Side Tilt: Gooey pulls out the broom used in his broom power from Kirby’s Dream Land 3, and sweeps forward once with it. The broom itself deals the most damage in the attack, but the dust that is swept by the broom also deals a small bit of damage. [2%-4%]
Up Tilt: Gooey looks towards the screen for a very brief moment, and then spins around, while slightly extending himself upwards. The attack stops after Gooey finishes two complete rotations. The attack has trapping properties. [3%-4%]
Down Tilt: Gooey crouches down, and then extends himself out sideways. This attack will send opponents flying on either side of Gooey, if they are close enough to him at the peak of the attack. [2%-5%]

Standard Aerial: Gooey rotates midair while spewing out a blizzard-type ice hexagon featured in several Kirby games. If an opponent has damage that exceeds 150%, this attack has a 1 in 15 chance of freezing them briefly. This attack may also trap the opponent for multiple hits. [3% per hit]
Forwards Aerial: Gooey sticks his tongue out and does a front flip, with his tongue acting like some kind of whip. This attack is good for a meteor smash. [7%]
Backwards Aerial: Gooey lashes out backwards with his Coo Broom ability [the featherduster] and swats at the opponent before putting it away. Good to clear out room behind you, as it is something of a quick-draw move. [4%-5%]
Up Aerial: Gooey pulls out his parasol, and holds it above his head. The parasol then turns inside out. If an opponent is caught while the parasol is turning inside out, they will be knocked skyward. Good for players with great timing. [2%]
Down Aerial: Gooey pulls out a parasol, and ChuChu pops out of it. The two friends spin happily around on the parasol, which slowly circles down. The move ends after Gooey hits the ground, somewhat like a slower version of Link’s down aerial. [2%-3%]

Grab: Gooey sticks his tongue out rapidly, and it coils around Gooey’s opponent.
Grab Attack: Gooey expands into a needle ball, dealing out a small bit of damage, and an effect similar to the Unira item from Brawl. [2%-3%]
Forwards Throw: Gooey shakes the opponent he has grabbed twice and then releases the opponent with a lot of speed forwards. This attack deals extra damage from the first two shakes; about 1% each shake. [2%-7%]
Backwards Throw: Gooey spins his opponent around twice, and then whips the opponent behind him, with his tongue flying backwards rapidly, enough so to hit an opponent in the opposite way Gooey is facing, dealing a small amount of damage. [3%-5%]
Up Throw: Gooey throws the opponent upwards a very short distance, and then pulls out a remote controller, which guides Pitch (the green bird from Kirby’s Dream Land 3) in an electric forcefield upwards at the opponent, which continues until Pitch is offscreen. Pitch is not controllable, and simply flies straight up. This throw deals electric damage from Pitch, and standard damage from Gooey’s throw. [5%-7%]
Down Throw: Gooey throws the opponent to the ground with his tongue, and then jumps about one Kirby into the air, pauses for a fraction of a second, and uses his rock power in order to crush the opponent. This throw is good if you want to deal damage to the opponent. [10%-12%]

Forwards Smash: Gooey pulls out his parasol, and pauses for a second while the move charges. When the move has finished charging/the button is released, Gooey smashes the parasol forwards, like a baseball bat and twirls it in front of him. This leads to heavy knockback, and mild damage. [8%-10%]
Up Smash: Gooey pauses facing the screen while he charges for the smash attack, and then a single long needle will protrude from the top of his head. This attack at its peak will deal a tremendous amount of knockback, likely for a Star KO. [7%-9%]
Down Smash: Gooey crouches while the smash attack is being charged, and when the button is released, he jumps slightly into the air, and spikes jut out of him on all sides. This attack has a similar effect to the Unira item from Brawl, and is good for crowd control. [7%-10%]

Standard Special Name: Tongue
Standard Special Damage: [3%-6%]
Standard Special Description: This move is fairly similar to Kirby’s Inhale ability, but there is a twist; instead of inhaling an opponent, Gooey sticks out his tongue in an attempt to catch an opponent and eat them. Gooey’s tongue can be directed after the move has been executed. From straight up to straight down, and anywhere in between, Gooey’s tongue can be directed, but only the direction in which Gooey is facing. The only other difference between Gooey’s tongue and Kirby’s inhale is that Gooey doesn’t steal abilities of other characters; but instead deals extra damage if he devours them. If Gooey “devours” the opponent, the opponent is simply “spat out” backwards.

Side Special Name: Cutter
Side Special Damage: [4%-8%]
Side Special Description: Gooey pulls out a cutter boomerang, which is randomly selected from a cutter ability he actually used in Kirby’s Dream Land 3. The combinations that are able to be selected are the standard cutter, Pitch’s cutter form, Coo’s feather cutter, Kine’s projectile cutter, Nago’s shockwave-like cutter, etc. All of the cutters featured deal the same amounts of damage and have the same properties [slashing damage]; the changes are purely cosmetic. Whichever cutter is selected; Gooey simply throws the cutter forward, and it flies forward in a straight line, and flies back to Gooey.

Up Special Name: ChuChu 'Chute
Up Special Damage: [1%-10%]
Up Special Description: From behind Gooey, where the player can’t see, ChuChu hops on top of Gooey’s head. As ChuChu jumps onto Gooey’s head, Gooey begins to spit a small jet of fire from his mouth, which begins as a forward shot, and is slowly tilted upwards once ChuChu is on top of Gooey. As soon as Gooey’s fire jet hits ChuChu, she expands into a parachute, which slowly makes the pair ascend. After about 5 to 7 seconds, Gooey’s fire jet is weakened, and Gooey slowly descends. At any time during the move, the player can cancel the move by releasing the special move button. Gooey deals out minimal fire based damage to players who come in contact with his jet of flame, while ChuChu deals damage similarly to Peach’s parasol when enemies land on top of her.

Down Special Name: Spark
Down Special Damage: [2% per hit]
Down Special Description: After the down special move is activated, Gooey crouches slightly, and an electric forcefield surrounds him. Sparks will fly out from all angles when Gooey is surrounded by the forcefield. Whenever an opponent comes in contact with Gooey in this form, they will take a slight amount of electrical damage. The forcefield lasts up to 10 seconds, and if the ten seconds are reached, there is a slight ending lag, while Gooey shakes the soot off of himself from being burnt out.

Final Smash Name: Dark Matter Form
Final Smash Damage: [?%]
Final Smash Description: After the Smash Ball has been activated, Gooey swiftly gains the Dark Matter “petals” he received in the final level of Kirby’s Dream Land 3. While in this “Dark Matter” form, Gooey is able to fly all around the screen, and is only stopped by platforms he normally would not be able to go through. When the attack button is pressed, Gooey fires a star-shaped projectile from his mouth. These stars deal about 5% damage each, and if the button is held down, the stars can be rapid fired.

Character Bio: Gooey is Kirby's best friend in Kirby's Dream Land 3, and is described as a friendly blob of Dark Matter. He is similar to Kirby, except that he is blue with a long tongue and a silly expression on his face.

In Kirby's Dream Land 2, Gooey was one of the various characters trapped inside of various bags that Kirby would stumble across on his adventure. Once the miniboss guarding one of these bags was defeated, Gooey was one possibility to pop out. His function in that game was to restore Kirby's health.

However, Gooey made a comeback in Kirby's Dream Land 3. In that game, Gooey was promoted to the role of a second playable character, whom Kirby could summon for the cost of 2 health. In a single player game, Gooey would be controlled by the AI, but he could also be controlled by the second player, if there was one.

In Super Smash Bros. Melee, Gooey appeared as an unlockable trophy.
Works:

Kirby’s Dream Land 3 (Super Nintendo)

Well unless you would do something to it to make it not so powerful, I would suggest taking off Psy End. Maybe make Espeon slower for a while, or all of it's attacks do half damage for 5 seconds.
