Jacob looked as the soldiers rushed into his shack. He quickly got up, and let out one of his mind screams, crippling the soldiers that were inside. He ran out, only to see more soldiers. "What do you want!?" he yelled, ready to use another mind scream.
When a soldier shot at him and barely missed, he let out another mind scream, and started running into the woods, hoping to lose them. He ran and ran, making sure to take a few turns along the way.
yeah! the rpg!!:
as Lexal walked home from school, he felt like someone was watching him, he turned around but there was no one there strange he thought. He turned back around and ran home.
When he was inside the house he hung up his coat and put his schoolbag down as his mom come in. "Ah your home. Um..." she said hesitating
"What's wrong mom?" Lexal replied concerned.
"Well... you were chosen to be an exchange student. You'll be going to... ." she paused she looked down at a paper."utah"
"but I don't want to go, I like japan..." complained Lexal
"i know but i dont think they're giving you a choice"
"what, why?"
"i don't know, but you best be packing your bags your plane takes off in 30 minutes"
"ahhhh! i don't want to!" Lexal complained as he flailed all the way upstairs.
After he packed his bags he out the bags into the back seat of the car then drove off to the air port.
Hearing the voice and commands of Agent Williams snapped Arashi out of his little dream world. I've still got to deal with them. He jumped up and started off down the ally way he had found himself in after scaling the wall. Heart pounding and legs starting to feel weak, he charged as fast as his limbs would carry him. As his hopes of escaping rose, a slick black car came to a loud, screeching stop at the end. He slowed to a stop as He saw Agent Williams step out of the vehicle and six men come around the corners of the car. Seeing no other way of escape, he charged forward and began to yell as loud as his lungs would allow. His speed increased as did his scream. He let a single arm trail behind him as he ran and soon enough, a large vines was bursting through the ground behind him. As he neared the car and the men, he jerked left and waved his right arm, the one that was behind him, and the vines shot forward straight into the side of the car. He pulled his arm back and clenched his fist tightly. As he made these actions, long, three foot violet thorns shot out in every direction from the vine. There tips came to a tip sharper than any blade and highly poisonous light green slime covered every square inch of the thorns. His eyes flashed with anger and two vines identical to the fist sprouted from it's base and began whipping violently towards the men, green slime sprinkling off the thorns.
Satisfied with the small protection, the exhausted boy stumbled back to the far end of the ally way and plopped down in the corner. His heart rate was very high and he was fighting back the urge to barf. Never had he had to use this much of his power and running.
Lexal pumped his legs as hard as he could but the strange creature keeps getting closer he heard Anell scream "lexal!"
He sat up as fast as he can while he yelled in Japanese scaring the flight so bad that she screamed while leaping back "Oh.... ah....sorry about that" he said "Do you know what time it is?"
"It's 4:00 in the morning" said the flight attendant her voice shaky.
" thank you" he said as he got his luggage out of the compartment and started walking down the aisle to the exit.
30 min. later...
so this is the school im going to... he thought as he looked at the school that looked rather small compared to his last one. Well i better find my self an apartment he thought as he turned and left.
OoC: I know they aren't bullets, I was just stating things from my character's point of view.
Quickly looking for a possible alternative for getting away other than the ridiculously dangerous escape hatch, Shadow noticed he had no other choice than to crawl in the vents. With a white flash caused byu the quick movement of a vector reflecting the light, the metal bars covering his only option were gone. With a sigh, he climbed up and headed into complete darkness, hoping he would land somewhere safe.
as he walked down the street he started to hear gunfire and yelling whats going on? he thought as he sneaked up closer and saw a ton of people that looked like police, surrounding a five story building. oh hey! its a hotel looking thing he thought as he went up to a "police" "excuse me, police officer is this a hotel?" he asked.
"sir, this area is resstricted"
"never mind" interrupted lexal as he looked up at the logo on the building then ran to the front desk while all the cop agent people ran after him"i would like to get a room " at the sound of a customer the person looked up from her magazine "how much is the rooms here?"
"$100" repleid the person"and 5,000 to buy one" as lexal fished out his cash and slapped 5,000 down on the counter. Astonished the cashier lady said, "third floor, room 408"
"Thank you." said lexal as he grabbed the key, and soon as the agents got through the door lexal made the light in the room rise , temporarly blinding them, and went to the stairs
when he reached the third floor he slowed down theres more cop people he thought i wonder why they're here in the first place, oh well i just need to get to my room..... lexal looked up and saw at least 12 people patrolling. Lexal looked up at the lights and emmideitly they went out. and a split second after all the agents were yelling. Lexal ran to his room and opened the door and set his luggage down alrighty then he thought as he pulled his laptop and went on pokemon acanthite and checked if there was any new posts. Then he went to just dubs forums. Then he turned around and started to explore his new home as he unpacked his clothes and stuff.
OoC: My character just went through the vent, lexal, there's no possible way you could have seen him. Plus, the whole building is surrounded by the soldiers, you couldn't have gotten in that easily.
Shadow continued to crawl in the darkness, the agitated voices of the soldiers getting farther away as he continued onwards to the depths of the unknown. He hoped they wouldn't find where he had just gotten in, otherwise the persistent agents could just shoot a rain of heartless bullets from appeared to be high-precision machineguns to the metallic vent, and he would be dead before he could miraculously react. The cold metal was already making both of his arms go numb, and his ghostly vectors wouldn't help much in the current state he was in.
"But, why are those people following me?" Shadow wondered in a monologue whisper. "In the eighteen years of my life, absolutely nobody had discovered my dark secret. Which isn't that secret after all."
He was able to break cement like if it was styrofoam, bend iron poles like if they were plasticine, pierce the hardest of materials with the same ease it would take a pair of scissors to cut a paper... But, until now, he didn't try with living organisms such as animals or... maybe humans?
To Umbreon: For a moment there I thought you were overdoing the no-overpowering rule, but I'll let this slide. I'm suggesting the next time you use that, forget the poisonous slime.
Spoiler:
Agent Jackson saw him run off. "***!" he cursed, taking out a knife. He started slashing down the vines as best he could, trying to save his troops. The soldiers switched their guns to actual bullets, shooting the vines, snapping them and breaking them down. Agent Jackson exhaustedly leaned against the brick wall by the alley. "He got away!" Jackson said, moving for the car.
To Shadow:
Spoiler:
"He disappeared!" a soldier said through an earpiece. "WHAT?!" Williams exclaimed, looking through Shadow's profile. "That's impossible! He doesn't have anything close to teleportation and such!" "Well, he's gone!" the soldier said in dismay. Williams slammed the folder onto the ground, leaning against the building. A larg vent by his foot made a small echo of the sound, but he was too busy to notice. "Get some cars. I'm going back to my office." he said gruffly. "Put this hotel in lockdown!" he ordered one of the soldiers. The soldier hesitated. "Sir, we'd be going against the constitution and going against human rights. We can't kick them out of the hotel unless we have a proper excuse to do so... sir." Williams streaked his hair. "Retreat." he reluctantly ordered. As a black sedan pulled up, Williams slowly walked into the door, closing it with an exhausting *SLAM*. The soldiers were gone within minutes, except one agent, sitting in the lobby. He smirked. "Well, Williams may have not caught his fish, but I'll be sure to get mine." Said Agent Thaxton.
To Lexal: I'd prefer you revise whenever you make a post so you can put in punctuation marks where they're needed. And, it was kind of awkward because the soldiers that are in there also know about you. I guess I'll let this one slide, but next time be more careful where your character is going to appear. And most likely, the people would've heard the gunshots and would have been panicking. But I guess I'll let that slide too. C'mon, cause and effect people, cause and effect. And, don't make yourself super rich. But other than that, I kind of like how this is working. :)
Spoiler:
Agent Thaxton stood up from his spot in the apartment lobby, walking up to the front desk. "Excuse me, do you know if a kid with white hair and two eyes with different colors?" he asked. The woman at the front desk looked up lazily at him. "Oh, the one with the boatload of cash?" she said, pointing down the hallway. "Thanks." He said, walking toward there. He signalled two people also siting in the lobby. They stood up too, walking over to Thaxton. "Do we proceed?" one of them asked. Thaxton nodded. They proceed to the room '408'. Thaxton knocked on the door, nodding to the two others. The two other agents took out two pistols, filled with power-nullifying darts.
