Welcome to heroes RPG! If you have seen the sign-up thread, then you should already know what to and not to do. but, just in case...

Spoiler:
Plot: You are a human with a certain ability, and secret agents are after you for interrogation and tests. You must avoid them, while also avoiding some people who use their powers for evil. You also struggle with family matters and other problems that you had before you realized your power, or before anyone found out your power. With this, I hope you can create quite a story.

RULES!!

No godmodding - Don't make your self UBER-POWERFUL!!! Please, think of a simple or weird power that you'd like to use.

No Bunnying - Many people bunny other characters to continue a story. DON'T DO IT!

No swearing - Not that I don't swear myself, but usuallt on public places like this, I'd prefer to censor. If you want to swear, use **** or *scrub* to censor. NO: Fu**, F**k, S***, or L33t swearing.

No skipping - Keep everything in the same timezone, and verify if you are skipping ahead in time to help out your part of the story, or verify what timezone your character is in to help out others. If a scene if happening, you cannot skip ahead in time until you finish the scene.

WORK WITH YOUR PARTNER! - As my drama teacher said, "Always agree with your scen partner." That means all ideas are not rejected unless I said otherwise or the scene is useless.

Don't trail - If there is something happening, WORK WITH IT! Don't trail from the subject or try to change it to fit what you want to do.

Other than all that I've said, here are some rules on your character:

No Pete/Sylar abilities - You cannot have the ability to steal other abilities unless I verify it with special permission (This doesn't mean you should put it in like I would say yes. Trust me, the chances are slim, like maybe paper slim compared to the Empire State Building).

No Claire Abilities - You cannot have any type of invincibiliy power, so don't even try. You cannot have an instant healing thingy, or anything close, like maybe small regeneration, unless related to your power. You might ask "But someone has to have that power somewhere in the world." and your right; Claire has it.

Make your power simple, yet unique - Please, think up a power we haven't thought up that is unique in it's own way if you can. The ability to fly is just too original. Remember that some powers might be lame, but someone has to have it. try out a power you have never though of using (This isn't an order, just a suggestion).

make a simple plot - Usually I have seen where people reach a point where the simple plot they made is over, and they have nothing to do, so they put in simple posts that aren't needed. (EX: the plot ends, and someone posts "You wanna hang out at my house?" and then it goes on about just talking and not really doing anything important). Avoid this as much as possible.

No dead-based things! - Please, keep the dead things for halloween. Bringing the dead to life is prohibited, also because it effects my No regeneration or healing powers rule. The most you can do is animate inanimate objects, and that's it.

If you think, then your right - This means that if you think the power you chose is too powerful, then your probably right. If you think the post your posting might be wrong, then believe it is wrong and try a different approach. This helps out any typos or multiple rejections.

No Shapeshifting - There have been too many cases where people simply shapeshift into whoever they want, and it gets out of hand. Unless I provide permission, this is prohibited.

Well, to start, I'll post first:

Mark walked slowly down his well-known street. The asphalt was cold and damp from a recent rain, and the thick smell of wet grass and foliage permiated the air. The trees in his neighborhood resembled brown, red, and yellor behemoths, and when he was little, he used to climb them and relax under them during summer. Now that fall was coming, it was getting colder, and too cold to be relaxing under a tree. Mark held onto his straps from his balck backpack, and zipped up his thick blue jacket. Even though it wasn't that cold to wear it, it was stylish, and he liked it. Mark proceeded to his house, tucked nicely between his neighbor's houses. At the front was a small black iron fence with brick supports every yard. It reached up to his waist, but it was still dangerous to cross over it, with sharp pointed tips on the black iron rods, joined together with a web of other black rods, meeting every yard by the brick supports, which also had iron tips drilled into the tops. Of course, it didn't have a gate, but instead stopped at the driveway on the right side, reaching all the way back into the backyard, which finally had a steel gate blocking at the border between back and front. His house was made of red brick, and nice brown overlapping plated roof. Mark went to the front door, made of fine dark oak with a brass handle with a very artistic carvings in it. Mark turned the handle, only to frustratingly hit his head on the front. Mom locked the door again! Mark looked around, then touched the handle again. Instantly, his hand became brass. Mark smiled. His power seemed to go into use sometimes. Mark started molding his finger into a thin plate. Then, he placed the plate into the lock. Instantly he heard a click, and he turned it, opening the door. Mark plucked the plate off his finger plate, placing it in his pocket. Mark's finger, still brass, started to mold back into a finger. Mark sighed as he turned his hand to normal. It was always weird to break off an appendege and have it back later. It was like getting hurt in a video game, but always turned out fine in the end. But Mark knew very well not to use his powers like a video game.

Mark into the Living room, a large room taking up about the whole front part of the base floor. There were two sofas, both opposite to eachother, on the right side up and down walls, both used to watch the TV on the right wall. To the left was the computer desk and work desk. Mark went into the Kitchen, only separated by a doorway from the living room. The kitchen was quite compact, but suitable. there was a hallway to the left, and taking from the other side of the right wall a counter, curved like a backwards "J" towards the table, which took up the remaining space on the right. Mark checked the fridge adjecent to the counter, then proceeded past between the table and the counter, turning left and down the stairs. Mark walked forward straight into his bedroom door, opening it. He looked around his room. Messy, as always. Mark walked over to his bed, laying down. He looked up at his white ceiling, made of some type of material he still couldn't describe, and in tiles. he always wondered what it would be like to absorb ANY kind of material, but I guess it was good enough with metal. But after 8 years, although he loved every time he used his power, he seemed to start getting bored. Metal was always fun to use, but he was never able to use it for something that could change the world. he couldn't even use it in public. Mark was smart enough to know that if he showed his powers to someone, there could be dire consequences. Mark closed his eyes and let the world go blank.

Agent Godeman sat silently where he was, watching intently at the Goldman's house. "Mark has entered the house." Godeman said into his earpiece. "We copy." said a disembodied voice from the earpiece. Godeman looked around. At least five other agents waited for orders, taking place as simple things: a woman taking a stroll with her baby, a rocker listening to hard rock, a gardener working on some hedges, and a couple taking an afternoon walk. "Retreat." Godeman commanded. "We'll strike later."

If you were witnessing this, you would have thought weird to have five people instantly stop doing what they were doing and walk off together. But Mark was inside, sleeping away, unaware of the danger at hand.

Ok, start posting! Oh, a little hint, I put the setting in fall, unless the season might be different due to Earth's rotation.
Nobody was looking. In fact, nobody was there to notice the unnatural occurrence that was going to take place in the silent neighborhood that he was in. Shadow patiently waited another minute, a fragment of time which seemed to last more than it meant to, uselessly waiting for his favorite soda can to drop like a hollow metal brick. Nothing. The imposing, inanimate vending machine stood like a neon fortress ready to take an imaginary blow.
Taking a careful step back after looking again at his lonely surroundings, Shadow let out a sigh of discomfort as he readied himself for a "Plan B". Plan which no normal individual would manage to pull off, as hard as it would try. A sudden flash of the reflection of the setting sun appeared from his back, immediately followed by a horizontal movement which was seen as a white blur made of a non-existing limb, a loud metal thud then followed, echoing down the empty streets. In a event which took less than a mere second, somehow the mechanized structure was cut in half. The slash was perfectly made, without any possible dents a sharp knife would make.
Smirking, the yellow-colored soda can flew from the lacerated, unusable machine to his hand, like if pulled by a ghastly force he knew it would help him somehow.
Jacob looked up at his mother, who was wincing in pain. He wondered why it was, he had had a little fit a few minutes ago. He tried to make his mother feel better, but...

Jacob woke with a start and looked around his small shack outside of Roslyn. "That dream...again?" he murmured to himself, "It's been every night now..."

He decided to get up and walk around. He thought that it was about two o'clock in the morning. He thought he saw some figures, but he put it off as a hallucination. His constant headache was pretty bad now, though the cold air seemed to make it a little better.

He shivered a little. Though he didn't really feel cold, he knew that it was a simple reaction the body did naturally. This was one of the times he was actually alone. He saw a deer in the clearing. Breathing in the mountain air, he focused on it, and heard a quiet screech. However, he knew how loud it would be to the deer. It looked around frantically, and ran away.

He sighed, the slightly more humid cold autumn air blew at a mild breeze.
Arashi rounded and sharp corner into a long, pitch black ally way with blazing speed. Without looking back for his chasers, he sprinted, as fast as his long would take him, down the long musty ally. He soon came to a dead end of brick and heard angry voices closing in on him through the darkness. A large rough hand reached through the shadows and jerked Arashi back by his shoulder. With lightning speed, he waved and arm and a wall of vines shot up between him and his attacker. He then turned to the brick wall and let out a light breath.
He worked his fingers in quick, fluid motions in the air, and soon there was a wall of ivy scaling the walls of the ally around him. Choosing what looked like the strongest of the bunch, he swiftly made the climb to the roof. Once at the top, he glanced back down to the ally way and saw that his attackers and fled; with this, he retracted the vines and ivy back into the ground, large cracks all over the walls and ground were left in their place. The tired boy flopped down against the small wall of the roof and closed his eyes, trying to picture himself on a peaceful beach with pretty girls and hot sand.

(Hope that's good for a first post  )
(very good umbreon. I will identify the agents that were assigned to all of you later. It's been a crazy day.)
With his objective complete, the soda can carelessly placed on his left hand, Shadow quickly headed to his next destination, making sure for the last time no one could have been witnessing him slice the vending machine in two perfect halves. He then crossed the familiar pavement that went directly to his apartment on the third floor of a five-story building. Place of absolute calm where he could stay and enjoy the everlasting, eerie silence of his empty home, without anyone unsuspectingly breaking the thin line of peacefulness that reigned inside every room.
Shadow then found himself in front of the wooden door, inserting the rusty set of keys inside the old brass handle, which made a click before the whole door opened, revealing his comfortable apartment. As soon he closed the creaking door, he immediately went to his room, and after laying down on the bed he finally opened the soda can, taking a gentle gulp of the fizzy liquid it contained as the remote control on the floor went flying towards his hand by the effect of an intangible phantom force.
To Shadow:
Spoiler:
Agent Williams sat comfortably where he was, watching with binoculars. "He's learning new ways..." he said, reaching for his earpiece. "Let's move in. He'll be a good addition to the 'team.'" Suddenly at least seven people lounging around took of their clothing, revealing bulletproof armor. They took some pieces of something from their belts, putting it together to reveal a rifle. They put in their cartridges while slowly creeping towards the apartment, unseen, unheard. Agent Williams took out his own pistol, jumping down from his position on another roof, making his way down the wall by pipes and handholds. The team squickly maneuvered their way through the apartment, making sure no one saw them. If they were seen by any other person, it would cause panic. The soldiers stopped by the door. "Code 33." the lead captain said, ensuring no one else was in there, and coast was clear. "Fire at will." The soldiers busted down the door, holding up their guns, ready to shoot.
((You can take it from here Shadow.))

To Umbrean:
Spoiler:
Agent Jackson stopped at the wall. "Round the corner, see if he's on the other side." he ordered, three soldiers running around the other side. "Climb those vines, soldier!" he commanded. The soldier hesitated, but nevertheless started up the wall. Suddenly the vines contracted, making the soldier fall down onto the ground. "Ok, let's take a different route." he said, showing his plan. "First three are coming around the left. You three, go to the right. We'll take the car." Everyone set off to where they were supposed to go. "He's got a power we could use..." Agent Williams pondered, thinking of the things that they could do with Arashi's power. ((You can take it from here, just don't bunny Agent Williams.))

I'll add more later. I have to go.
Jacob decided for the better of him, and went into the shack, he felt something strange outside, something that he had been feeling a lot lately, it felt as if he was being watched. It made him look over his shoulder every so often, when he had never done so before.

His shack was small, with one room that had a bed(Which was simply a bunch of blankets and a pillow), a small heater, and a generator outside. It was dismal, but it was all he needed for now. He sat down on his "bed," and contemplated what would happen next; he had very little money, and no plans. There was simply nothing he could do right now.
As the wooden door violently busted down with a loud crash, Shadow instantly knew there were problems. The impossibility of anyone seeing his power swiftly cut through the vending machine was still on his mind, so there weren't normal police officers at all, as they knew something no normal people could know. Jumping out of the relaxing position he was previously in, he bravely crossed the hallway and met face to face with seven soldiers with strong, bullet-proof armor armed with deadly caliber automatic rifles, ready to distribute a wide arrange of bullets on his body.
Without letting the armed soldiers even react to what he was about to do, Shadow let out a ghastly, boneless arm limb out from his back. The intangible figure was launched towards the left side of the wide hallway, and just when the soldiers were about to pull the trigger, the vector quickly made an horizontal swiping movement, smashing everyone against the cold concrete. While the commotion caused by his surprise attack was still on, Shadow sprinted towards the escape hatch every apartment had for emergencies, but a sudden thought struck his mind. He would rather escape through somewhere else, seeing the probability the unknown soldiers could be surrounding the whole building, too.
To Shadow: Just a note, the guns are equipped with darts filled with a power-nullifying liquid, not bullets.
Spoiler:
Agent Williams knew he had to act fast. "Block all door-based and all window-based exits now!" he ordered, having more soldiers make their way around. Agent Williams lifted his hand to his earpiece. "Get up, soldiers!" he ordered, making six of the soldiers in the hallway snap out of unconiousness.((Okay, go ahead Shadow >:3))

To Missingno.:
Spoiler:
Agent Gauller knew the person he was assigned to get would be a tough one. If the report was true, then this guy could take down a lot of people with the power of the mind. Of course, if he had the numbers, he could overthrow him easily. Gauller and his team of ten surrounded the old shack, ready to bust the door down and take their prize. Gauller stopped by the door. "Go, Go, Go!" Gauller yelled as the soldier flooded into the shack.((ok Missingno., it's all up to you what happens next, except you can't bunny Gauller, but the soldiers are fine.))

Mark stood up suddenly from his nap. He looked at his watch. "Crap!" he said, slamming his palm into his forehead. He was to meet his girlfriend in thirty minutes! And two miles off too! Mark quickly made way to his door, running through it quickly.

Agent Godeman expected this. He had tapped into Mark's phone, and hear him talking with his girlfriend. Although it was his mission, it was slightly funny to hear them talk together. Godeman signalled his soldiers forward. About five came out, ready to fire. Mark stopped in his tracks. "****!" he cursed (you will never know which word >:3). One of them took aim. Mark put his hand over his watch, absorbing the chrome steel. the sun shone brightly, reflecting off his now metal body. Mark charged forward as the soldier shot. The dart merely dented on impact, falling down. Mark came up to the soldier, socking him right in the mouth. The soldier flew two yards back, landing on the ground with a *THUD*. The soldier stood up, spat out some teeth and looked at Mark, then fell back to the ground. Mark ran as fast as he could, the soldiers chased after him, shooting a barrage of darts. Mark caught one, looked at it. Then, he pinched it between his two fingers, sending it flying back into the neck of one of the soldiers. The rest kept running after him, dodginh whatever they could to get closer. Mark looked up ahead. a compact car was zooming towards him. "Well, this'll be fun." he said. He and the car were now on a collision course, and there was no stopping it. Mark stopped only yards away, bracing himself. Perfect timing. The compact drove right into him, crunching under the impact, flying over Mark into another soldier. Mark brushed himself, seeing dents all over his body. "Nothing I couldn't fix." he said. The other two soldiers saw him, bolting after him. Mark zoomed down the street, making sure that they could never get near him.

Up aheard stood a mysterious figure in a trenchcoat and cowboy hat, arms crossed, waiting for him. "This'll be fun." he grinned.
