Strategy: Choice Scarf fixes Magmortar's Speed up, so you can sweep. This is really the only set that works with this thing's movepool- I don't like Focus Blast, but the only other choices are Hyper Beam and Solarbeam... All the same, it's nice. Torch what you can, T-bolt Waters, Psychic's just there 'cause it's nice and you don't have any other options, and Focus Blast kills Rock types, provided it hits.

A pretty much standard moveset in the current metagame. I feel Magmortar is overshadowed by its electric counterpart somewhat, however. Nicely thought out anyway.

I agree that electivire is more popular,but with me that truth couldn't be any more false:P If you have sunny day it could help.

Not if it's holding Choice Scarf, unless you mean something else uses SD.

Well this set is an lead, SR for first turn and then if its an set up lead just Toxic or Roar it away, the EV's are for surviving some Alakazam's Grass Knot and Azelf's too ensuring you won't get OHKOed by Swampert only weakness, grass, this set works pretty well with an Gyarados since they cover each other weaknesses and this set is really bulky if used correctly.
