For those of you who've been waiting for it: It's about damn time I put this up, isn't it! XD
For those of you who have no idea what this is: Check out the quotes thread once in a while, or... *Points to signature*

if you're already in the cult and want to be in the fic, PM me with what you want your appreance to be- Nate, Giga, and Star, you're already in the fic, I just want to know what you want to look like- and what monster you faced. Just to make sure you actually ARE in the cult, I keep losing track. ;) If you faced more than one before you passed, just tell me what the most recent one was.

Without further ado, I give you the prologue! :)

Prologue

In a realm that parallels our own, a cult was born.
It all started so simply. In a city called Ustream, a group of friends began meeting. It was a selective group, only a small circle of friends at first. They got their own television show, and on one episode, it happened.

The colosseum fell from the sky. The four on stage looked at it in surprise and disbelief.
“I think it should be tested out,” One of the four said. “Kudamon, why don’t you go in?”
Another of the four, Kudamon, looked sharply at his comrade. “Are you kidding?”
“No.”
Kudamon groaned and stepped into the colosseum. “Nate, if I die, I’m going to kill you…”
The one called Nate laughed a bit, then said, “Now go get your armor, and I'll see what it comes with. Let’s see...”
Kudamon got into his armor and muttered, “I have four minutes to live…”
Nate, meanwhile, was looking at various buttons on a small dashboard-type thing built into the wall. “Spartans, Trojans, huntresses, lions… Hmm, a Minotaur.”
Kudamon looked over. “What?” He asked sharply. “Minotaur?”
Nate grinned and pressed a button. Almost instantly, a Minotaur materialized in the middle of the colosseum. The audience leaned forward, ready to watch the fight.
Kudamon groaned again. “Damn, I’m never getting out of this colosseum alive…”
Nate smiled and pressed another button, this time getting a bag of popcorn.
“Don’t I get a sword or something?” Kudamon asked, a note of panic in his voice.
One of the other two, who had seemed to be in a conversation before this, tried to lend Kudamon his spare Death Ray, but Nate nodded and pressed a third button, and a sword appeared in midair right in front of Kudamon. Nate grinned and pressed yet another button, and the Minotaur charged.
Kudamon stood there for a second, sword held loosely, and Nate sighed and said, “I’d suggest a sidestep… right about… now!”
Kudamon leapt aside, and the Minotaur charged past him. However…
“Someone press the pause button!” Kudamon yelled.
Nate and the guy who’d tried to lend Kudamon the Death Ray sprang for the pause button. Nate pressed it a split second after the other guy.
The fourth person, a girl who’d been screaming at the crowd for money, blinked and asked, “What? There was a pause button here?”
“This colosseum is awesome,” Nate laughed.
The other guy raised an eyebrow. “We both pushed it. Wouldn’t that unpause everything?”
“Umm…”
The four turned to see the Minotaur charging into the stands.
Nate screamed, “The Minotaur is loose!”
Kudamon realized he was still holding the sword and threw it at the Minotaur point-first while the others were yelling, “Get it!”
The point struck the Minotaur, which promptly disintegrated.
“Woah,” Nate said. “Nice shot.”
The other guy, meanwhile, got hit by parts of the Minotaur that hadn’t disintegrated. He grimaced and said, “Gross.”
Kudamon laughed. “Bad luck, Giga… Now, Nate, let’s see you give it a shot…”

Eventually this colosseum appeared whenever someone new came to the show, and it became a sort of initiation as they steadily formed the cult. Kudamon became the leader- by both votes- and so they continued, building their cult and extending it past just humans.

A dragon framed against the moon.

C+C, of course. :)
This is the one of the best things thats come to the notebook section! I really can't wait for your next post on this and see waht other adventures happen =D
I love this sort of stuff! I can´t wait for the next chapter.
Just so you know I haven't forgotten about this, I'm still working on the first actual chapter; I just need to get a few more characters in. Chapter should come by, say, Monday.
For the benefit of those who say that "the cult is nothing" because I "never did the fic". You know who you are. ;)

Spoiler:
Chapter One

In the city of Ustream, in some random building, a meeting was taking place.
Several people and a few dragons were gathered around a large table that couldn’t have possibly fit through the door. At one end was a man with black hair and dark green eyes, who was tall and slightly skinny. On his right, was a cape-wearing, grayish-blue skinned man whose left eye was blue and his right eye was red, and who had green hair. An empty seat was on the left of the black-haired man.
Down the table a bit were more empty seats, a copper dragon, a midnight-blue dragon, and three more people. One was tall, skinny, and wearing a black T-shirt with worn navy jeans. Another had straight brown hair, a white shirt with a giant E on it, and purple eyes. The last one looked somewhat younger than the others, with dark brown eyes and bluish-purple hair tipped with white.
The black-haired man sighed and drummed his fingers on the table. He cast glances at the empty seats, and then began to speak, but several people came in at a run. Once inside, they filled up most of the empty seats, one coming and sitting in the seat to the left of the black-haired man, who said, “You guys are very late.”
The one who’d sat next to him ducked his head and replied, “Sorry, Kudamon, we got held up.”
As if in response, Kudamon turned to give an inquiring look at another man who’d sat nearby. The other man looked at his feet, then looked back at Kudamon. “What?”
Kudamon raised an eyebrow. “What exactly caught you guys up, Snookie?”
“Why are you asking me?”
“Snookie.”
Snookie began to reply when the man in the cape interrupted. “Can we just get on with the meeting already?”
“Fine,” Kudamon muttered. “I believe that I’ve come up with the goal for the cult.”
“Well, tell us already,” Someone muttered.
“I was pausing for dramatic effect… oh, alright.” He looked around. “To start this off, I’d like to tell you the obvious- there’s more than one universe, and some of these are parallel to our own. In one such universe, dragons rule the skies even more than they do here.”
“Why is it always dragons?” Snookie demanded, throwing his hands in the air. “Why can’t it be the Loch Ness Monster for once?”
Kudamon glared at him.
“Sorry. I’ll be quiet now.”
“I’ll believe that when I see it,” The blue dragon muttered.
“Snookie’s right, though,” The man in the black T-shirt said. “I mean, why do you get to decide everything?”
“Ziebart, shut up,” Kudamon sighed.
“Don’t tell me to shut up.”
“Continue, Kuda,” Someone else said.
“Thank you, ATD,” Kudamon replied. “Anyway. In this universe we’ve taken on different personas.”
‘Wait, when did we do that?” ATD asked, clearly confused.
“What?” Kudamon blinked.
“When did we take on different personas? I don’t remember that.”
“You wouldn’t. It’s a parallel universe.”
“But you just said-“
“ATD, what I meant was, when you were born here, your other persona was born there. Parallel universe,” Kudamon explained.
“Oh… now I feel stupid.” ATD said.
“Can I continue now?” Kudamon looked around. “Okay. Where was I?. In that universe, the dragons-“
“-Always dragons-“
“- Are governed by a trio known as the Shadow Drakes- Pyrros, Kuthian, and Ilatrya. They’re very powerful dragons. And we have one of their alter egos in this room.” Kudamon nodded to the blue dragon, whose eyes widened. “Deathstorm is the alter ego of Pyrros. I’ve got a picture to show you guys…”
Kudamon reached under the table and pulled out a Yu-Gi-Oh card. The name of the card was “Shadow Drake- Pyrros” and depicted a dark blue dragon on a mountain. The dragon looked exactly like Deathstorm. The card was passed around, with everyone getting a look at it. When the card came back to Kudamon, Ziebart raised his hand.
Kudamon sighed. “What now?”
“Why is the picture on a Yu-Gi-Oh card?”
“Because it is!” Kudamon yelled, losing his patience. Everyone was quiet for a minute. Then Ziebart stood up and left.
Kudamon glared after him but continued speaking. “Pyrros can be considered to be the representative of Deathstorm’s potential abilities. He gains power when the other two Shadow Drakes are near. I think that if we find the other Shadow Drakes,“- He took out two more cards- “and bring them together with Deathstorm, his power will grow.” He passed the cards around. One was titled “Shadow Drake- Ilatrya” and had a purple dragon on top of a ruin of a castle as a picture, while the other was titled “Shadow Drake- Kuthian” and had a picture of a black dragon on a beach, staring out to sea. “It won’t be easy to find them though, as the only way we can be sure is their appearance.”
Deathstorm looked up from Kuthian’s card, which he held in his claw, and passed it to the man with the E on his shirt. “Maybe someone should take pictures of them.”
Kudamon glared at Deathstorm.
The dragon shifted uncomfortably. “What?”
“You are being very unhelpful today, Deathstorm,” The blue-haired man laughed. “Follow Mimring’s example and stay quiet.” He jerked his head at the copper dragon next to him.
“He’s not the only one who should stay quiet, David,” Kudamon said.
David took the hint and shut up, but he was still grinning.
“Where would we find them?” ATD asked.
“Maybe the locations in the pictures give us a clue,” The man in the cape suggested.
“A castle and a beach?”
“There are a lot of castles and beaches.”
“Giga has a point,” The only girl at the table said.
“Thanks, Star.”
“Well, then.” Kudamon looked around. “We should go looking.”

This is heavily based off of a couple of convos we had on the chat regarding the topic of this chapter. And yes, I know the chapter is a bit long, but that's why I used a spoiler.

Slightly lame ending is slightly lame, but meh.
This is really good
I noticed that in a lot of stories snookie is always afraid of you xD
But to get to the point, their is a big difference in chapters
The thing that I enjoyed the most, is that many of the stuff they say, DID end up being said on the chat.
Nice story so far. And a quick guess- did you get Mimring from Heroscape?
I Love this story. I especially like the parts where I was confused, I remember that completely XD. Anyway, I'd really like to find out what happens in the next chapter.
hmmm.... who in the devil would have a capitol E in their username?....

Oh well. This is awesome, especially since (as snookie said) IS based on what we chatted about. I can't wait for the next chapter!!
