As I have recently gone back to playing Pokemon Blue, I wanted to make an RPG to go along with it. So, here it goes.


Story: The same as in the original Pokemon games. You are starting your first Pokemon Journey, and decide to cross all of Kanto to become the best. Along the way, you must confront Team Rocket and stop them from taking over Kanto.

Intro: Welcome, young trainer! So, you have decided to start your Pokemon journey? Excellent! I have before me 3 different Pokemon, each of different strengths and weaknesses. However, if you don't like the 3 here, I might be able to find something in our storage area...

Sign-up: Use the following when signing up for the RP.

Name: (Character's Name)
Gender: (Boy or Girl)
$3000 (adjust as you earn money in the RP)
Starter: (Choose Bulbasuar, Charmander, Squirtle, or the Leftover, which is my choice of a common Pokemon for you.)
Helper: (The Pokemon that helps around your house. Plays the role of housekeeper and Father.)

The RP will start when at least 5 people, other than myself, have signed up, at which point I will create another thread for the actual game. I will update the thread with additional Teams have signed up.

I've always wanted to sign up for something like this but I dont totally understand how to play. I read a few tutorials and a few roleplays themselves but I don't know if I'm ready. Should I join as a slightly less important character in order to get used to it, or study a bit more... 'cause i dont think I'm ready for the full thing quite yet.

Daveon is an eager 10 year old who can come up with very *unique* strategies in battle, but often makes amateur mistakes. Often underestimates his foes and daydreams a lot.

no one was being a girl so i thought i'd mix it up, plus can i start my "pokemon journey" a little older, like 15 instead of 10? this is my first rpg but it should be fun.

The game has started but no one but me and Green Bean have posted so far. Go ahead and start, maybe you'll get things going. I don't care if you are 10 or 15 but thats not really up to me...

I´d start, but I don´t really get how to start. Just go to the lab? It is a little unclear what to do.

From what I understand, we are just following red/bue versions in our own ways. The role play is in another thread.

Drmclolcat, you are accepted. And ziolang is right, the rp just follows the storylines of red and blue version. Not FireRed and LeafGreen, which means no Sevii Islands. Also, only Pokemon from the first Generation can be captured. However, I might allow a few exceptions due to some new evolutions introduced later.
