Either pure Grass or Part flying like Afti said. But the back leaves won't be the wings. The yellow things will. And I think we all agree that Mijumaru will be part ice, right? I mean c'mon. It's almost all white and ice-blue. And maybe dark for Pokabu?
The yellow things will be the outer rims of the leaves, but they're a bit thick to be wings. The lighter leaves will be the wings; the yellow things will support them. Like a kite.
The starter names and stuff regarding Zoroark have all been confirmed, as the new pages show.
They also show that the HP bars disappear during attacks (as usual).
Okay, the city that has been shown in the scans is known as Hiun City.

Well maybe they're not showing it because it might reveal new Pokemon. Or, maybe you can toggle between on and off in this game.
Anyway, I was not expecting the Grass starter to be a snake. I think that makes him epic.
Awww.... poor little guy. Makes me love him even more. XD
"My master plan is succeeding!"
I bet the pig's evolution has a gun in his....hand and a bag with a $-sign on it over its shoulder.

Copy/pasted from my post on another forum, but the same sentiments are still expressed, so wynaut:
Quote:Wasn't too much a fan of the starters other than the pig at first, but they're growing on me really quickly. My only remaining gripe is with the otter, and its generally ugly facial expression, which is very likely to go away with evolution, so the final evolution could be very cool, at least provided it goes more the Gatr route (speedy attacker, though more emphasis on speed and less on attack than Gatr), rather than the bulky route of Blastoise and Swampert; if final-otter is chubby and bulky the design will suck hard. Barring that, I could actually see myself trading to get all 3 starters for simultaneous use, which is something I absolutely never do.
....in short, props to Nintendo for making their starters not suck like they did in the last generation. Past that, I'll reserve comments for later.
Also, these starters I would actually not want to be pure-typed, because I don't think the second type's addition will kill the design like it did with the 4th Gen starters; the snake already has potential Electric elements to it, ditto with the otter for Ice, and it wouldn't be a big transition for the pig to get to any of Steel, Ground, or Dark.
My favorite is still Pokabu, though the sprites cut the gap a lot (Tsutaaja sprite > Majimaru sprite > Pokabu sprite, but they're all pretty close - and pretty good).
So far, 5th Gen is a big step up from 4th Gen. Now just cut way down on the excess legendaries and evolutions of existingmon, and we've got ourselves a legitimate game going here.
