I think, due to the fact that no health bars are visible on the battle screen, that aside from the Pokémon and background (maybe we'll see full trainer backsprites as well =D), everything has been pulled down to the bottom screen.
It'd make sense. They should've pulled it down in Gen IV anyway, the screen space for just a menu was far too generous.

This is completely amazing! Not only are they going back to the classic color naming (ex: Red, Blue, Yellow, Green), but they have also modern-ized it to the extreme! I mean look at that city! It's amazing! The graphics for the town have improved too, they are less man-made and jagged around the paths! Plus the overworld trainer sprite looks amazing, and the battle screen is just too much to describe! GO NINTENDO!
Both player characters appear to be wearing baseball caps, the female wearing hers forward (it's also pink), while the male wears it backwards and has a similar colour scheme to Ash Ketchum.
Maybe they'll kill him off in the film?

Wow, it's awesome that you can see a full sprite for the guy your using. Until now using cool looking pokemon hasn't looked cool becasue you can only see the upper-part of thier back. Here's hoping you can pimp out your character!

Agreed, a character editing system would be awesome, but there'd better be a lot of variety. :ninja:

His character should have been retired at the end of the first season, tbh.
Maybe time travel will reset the entire world and a better one will take it's place.
One that doesn't have annoying characters who should have disappeared a long time ago.
I'm !00% sure that Ash will stay alive as long as the series does. He's been here since the beginning ans will stay here unto the end.
Onto Black and White, the OW Sprite quality want to make me puke, and the skyscrapers look awful for the Pokemon theme, I hope the change them drastically. And the only good is the new Battle System.
