I've done a bit of bassvoxing in GH before, mainly to the Wings songs :D I just wish I could play left handed xP

Pretty sad how awful I am lefty, considering I am actually left handed :P

Eh. We haven't got any guitar hero games in a while. If we did get it, it wouldn't be my choice, so I'll have to wait and see. I was never paticularly good at it but my brother did pretty well so yeah. Storyline looks interesting, to say the least.

Also hell yes for Sir Psycho Sexy.
EDIT: I mean we personally haven't bought any.

No GH for a while? Van Halen was only out in February xP But GH6 looks interesting, but I want more RB3 info, and hopefully Beatles DLC at E3 :D

So, I just got a magazine (Power Unlimited), and it contains 3 pages of info on Guitar Hero 6.


Johnny Napalm's SUPARPOWAR mode. The power is called 'Speed Freak'.

A few other things worth of note:

- One picture contains the extended open bass note. I couldn't get a clear picture of it, but I'll try again in a few minutes (either that, or I need to get my scanner working).
- During 'Party Play', when someone joins, it shows the difficulty level of the song on that specific instrument. It has two pictures like that; unfortunately, they are the same songs and show the same difficulty tier. This could mean that they are going to rate songs separately for each difficulty.
- Song Progress Meter: Like the name implies, shows how far you are into the song. It is a meter above your score that fills up during the song.
- The powerups of the characters count for the entire band: So if you're using Pig Umlaut, the entire band has a 6x multiplier.
- There will be 93 songs in the game.
- All imported songs will have challenges.

I don't play Guitar Hero for the plot; I play it to play Guitar Hero. Hopefully the plot won't be too important (I'm thinking GH3 career mode here), and won't be as random as GH5's ending (SPARKLY PORTALS OH LOOK GOD AND SATAN ARE PLAYING CHESS STATIC TV TURNS OFF OH COOL KING CRIMSON)

Are all of the songs unlocked in Quickplay at the beginning of the game, or what? I'm not unlocking all that. :O

It's a live version, the original was a cover.

Guitar Hero: Smash Hits? That's a lot of recycling. Besides that, 'Lonely Is The Night' is in GH2(??) and GH5, and the GH5 DLC is currently adding a few songs that were in previous games.

And all songs are probably unlocked from the beginning in Quickplay. It's been like that since GH: Metallica, afaik.

Also, rumored release date of GH6 is 21st September.
