I have a feeling it is, considering that it would be impossible to play a 2nd gen game without buying a brand new one or using an emulator. And they don't make brand new ones.

Oh, I have a question! Would I be allowed to get an Eevee (since it's a Normal-type) and evolve it into Glaceon?
On a side note, you never established where DPPt ends. Is it after the E4 as well, or when you obtain the National Dex?

Oh! Sorry, forgot. Um...After the E4. While there are a lot of post-E4 stuff, most of it is tedious stuff that is hardly important. And yes, you may evolve Eevee into Glaceon so long as you don't use it beforehand.

And WiiOmi, you may use an emulator if you really need to.

What about in platinum where the galactic story line continues up until Stark Mountain? Technically that should be included shouldn't it?

Again not really been playing much, however I managed to defeat Brock and make my way through Mt Moon.

There are only just enough ground types in Kanto to give me a full team, wow. TMs will be a hassle, but no matter. Misty should also prove to be quite difficult, however Nidorino and Nidoran aren't ground types yet so I think I will be relying on them in the next fight.

I'm also wondering on who to evolve first, Nidorino or my soon to be Nidorina.
