I really need to have more knowledge of Platinum. I've only just beat the E4 >_<

Alright, I found my Emerald for GBA again.

So, I don't need to play on an emulator.
I'll start now.

Update: Just beat the last Gym.

Walrein lv.51 (Surf, Waterfall)

Off to Victory Road! Hopefully I'll find a Lapras. After that, I'll probably have to slow down and train a bit more.
Noooo! Lapras can't be found until after you get the National Dex. D:

Update: Got about halfway (or more) through Victory Road. Found a Razor Claw and gave it to Sneasel lv.40. Put Sneasel lv.40 in the front of my party (so it could get Exp.). Walked by and challenged by Expert (the one who uses Empoleon). Immediately switched Sneasel for Walrein, then Abomasnow when he sent out Golem. He was using Empoleon (HP 50%) when he knocked out my Abomasnow. Before I was able to switch back to my Walrein, during the "Hail continues to fall" scene, when Empoleon was buffeted by the Hail, the game froze. (Note that I was not using an emulator nor have I used any cheat devices. I didn't push on the game card or hit my DS against anything.) I hadn't saved since I first entered Victory Road, so I'll have to do it all again. I hope the same thing doesn't happen. D:

I'm gonna go with:
Sapphire, grass

now that I think about it, I've never started with a grass starter :P

No. You may only trade if the type of Pokemon you want to use can't be found before the third Gym.

Alright. I was only gonna trade over a Mantine from Emerald, but I'll be fine without it.

Simple HM-slave and item deliverer.

First Gym was pretty difficult, but Nincada finished off the poisoned Nosepass pretty easily.
Second Gym was a lot easier with Gust, Poison Sting and Harden.

Now going through that damn cave.
