Hello, and welcome to the revival of the Monotype Challenge! If you remember from the previous thread, a Monotype Challenge is when you try to finish a game using only a single type of Pokemon. There are a few rules, so be sure to follow them.
RULES:
EDIT:
To end the challenge, all the games end differently. In RBGY and FRLG (not FRLF, SaW), the challenge ends when you defeat the E4. In GSC and HGSS, the challenge ends when you defeat Red. In Ruby and Sapphire, the challenge ends when you defeat the E4, and Emerald ends when you defeat Steven in Meteor Falls. Diamond and Pearl end at the E4, and platinum at the end of the Galactic event on Stark Mountain. For Colosseum and XD, XD ends when you defeat Greevil, and Colosseum ends when you catch Togetic.

RULES:
- You must use only one type of Pokemon. However, there are a few exceptions...
- You may not trade unless the type you use cannot be gotten before the third Gym. If this is the case, you may only trade Pokemon that are about the same level as yours(No Lv. 70 Garchomps in your Pearl version for Dragon, thank you very much.)
- You may not get a Pokemon by AR, Gameshark, or any other way of cheating/fooling the game there is.
- You may not use any Legendary Pokemon. Though I know there are exceptions, most are horrendously overpowered, so instead of banning most legends, I may as well ban them all.
- For Psychic challenges, seeing as how Ralts and Abra have no means of attack, you may train them with another Pokemon until...
- You get a TM which you can teach it.
- It learns a new move.
- Please update every once in a while. It's nice to hear how you're doing in the game.
- Please say the exact version you are using to play and what type you are using. Makes it easier for me =/
- This is not a contest! So no "I did it faster than you" or anything like that.
- You may take as many challenges as you want. Of course, having too many would be hard.
- Have fun!
