All I can say is that pretty much everything is waaaay too bold. What software are you using at the moment?

Hmm... looks like GIMP.
It's not bad AT ALL for your first fake. It's far better than my, or even Flame Claw's, first fake.
You already pointed out that most the text is wrong, but I'll try to elaborate upon that. Pay attention to what font you are using. Sure you might be using Gill Sans, but are you using Gill Sans Bold or Gill Sans ULTRA Bold? That makes quite a difference. And it's sad that you can't make Sanvito italic in GIMP... As far as I know, there are two ways to fix this (while still using GIMP). Method 1: After inserting your text box and typing out the flavour text with Sanvito, select the Shear Tool and change Shear magnitude X to -20 (you might have to apply an Unsharp Mask afterward to keep it from looking blurry). Method 2: Use Times New Roman Italic instead.
Also, pay attention to how things are phrased on TCG cards (for example, "Knocked Out" is used in place of "fainted"). In this case, I think Tsutaja's Poke-Body (which should really be a Poke-Power, imo) should be phrased like this: "As long as Bulbasaur, Chikorita, Treecko, or Turtwig is on your Bench, Tsutaja gets +20 HP."
I repeat: this card is NOT BAD AT ALL for your very first. Just look at some more guides and you'll do great.
