INTRODUCTION

I have been working on a generation for some months, and I felt I would like critique. I'm not planning on actually making it, since I'm not in denial any more and I realized that I have many other things I want to accomplish in life, and that I'd rather spend a year or two learning a language than actually learning how to make this playable. If anyone, at any point, would like to progress in an actual development of the game, be my guest.

This region will, of course, feature a myriad of new moves, all of which will be detailed below.

The outline for a move's entry is as follows:

There are many types of targets.

1 - You choose which Pokémon to target that isn't yourself. E.g., Tackle

1 Ally - Targets you or your ally. E.g., Acupressure
1 Self - Move targets yourself. E.g., Rest
2 - Move always targets both foes. E.g., Eruption
2 Self - Move targets you and your ally. E.g., (can't think of one...)
2 Team - Move targets the two slots for Pokémon on your side, i.e. the move will benefit (or not) your whole team. E.g., Reflect

Updated for all current data.
You should name this after a color, mineral, or something fancy XD
Fancy like "Pokémon Enjeweled Egg and Squilliam Fancyson Versions?"
Sounds interesting
The only thing left is the regions
Also known as Pokemon: "oh boy! I want to be exactly like Acanthite in every single way" version.

Although...

I would totally dig those names. The second one especially. (don't make two versions though.)

...So, uh, rereading this post, looks like you're not looking to make this into a game. Okay, cool, that's one less thing to worry about then. Try for creative designs and interesting backstory, rather than just pairing punny names with types and calling them gymleaders. Also set goals for yourself, like "I will design the starters" or "I will develop backstory for the legendaries." Remember, since you're not creating a game you don't HAVE to make it linear, nor do you HAVE to have eight gym leaders really. But if you want to rest on the crutches of tradition, then sure. Cripple yourself.
I agree with Swine Flu on that part..
For some reason Peto sounds like Pedo. I always seem to find the perverted things XD
I, in fact, would like to rest on the crutches of tradition. This is more of a creative outlet, and all those requirements, etc. are what I like about Pokémon.
Resting on the crutches of tradition is hardly a bad thing.

That being said, though, if you're going to be doing this as a creative outlet, you might as well post some of the designs for fakemon you have. Because what is a region without its fakes?
Hmm... I guess I could try...

Oh man, I suck a art.
