I do understand that, but I always thought people paid to see the film, not the adverts?

That is one big factor that I think will stop Nintendo taking legal action - he has a massive supported following and PokéBeach is one of the most visited sites so they won't lose one customer from legally attacking - there's probably a good few thousand.

1. A hype stunt. People are going to get sucked into the drama and have their minds on the games more...

2. If not, well, people or bloody ridiculous. I do not always care what LAWS say or what is considered a CRIME, but what he did was not WRONG. No one considers that anymore. Sure it wasnt right, but he advertised a game for people, even though they didn't ask. It's a fricking commercial. Usually commercials are s'posed to be those things you get as many people to see as possible to increase sales or productivity and such. If they are going to persecute a guy for doing that for them, especially if it was an innocent mistake, then they can all just die. I am not for the the condemning of a simple man for a small mistake; a mistake in which will most likely benefit the company to begin with.

People disgust me.

1) Hype stunts are common in the business, but I'm sure they wouldn't actually aim it at one of their fans, again one with such a huge following. Although they will have the games on their mind more, it won't be for a positive reason.
2) *applause* I also think people get way to involved with laws that morals go out the window. It seems now that someone can't support both a company who make a product they love as well as their peers (other fans) without breaking a law which in turn doesn't actually cause any harm.

1. Yea, but being aimed at a fan is even more hype-y, and this fan is a bit more then just a fan. They could easily contact and set stuff up. He is easier to contact then other fans, and probably reliable.

2. Exactly. Morals have no place anymore and its ridiculous. We needs to have a world that is just a bit more..fun and free. We all die in the end..and people take shit too seriously. :\
This is much ado about nothing. WPM did nothing serious. If you pay to get on the subway, is it a special privilege to see the ads on the wall? No! They are placed there because they think the highest amount of potential customers will see it. Obviously, the same thing happens here with Pokémon ads at a Pokémon movie. Advertisements are there to advertise. The more publicity they get, the better.

Now, I care more for the principle of illegal activity than the actual moral value. Do I think marijuana is dangerous, or that it should be illegal? No, but people who smoke it disgust me. An unjust law must still be followed; it's not up to the average Joe to determine what is right and what is wrong.

WPM did or did not commit a minor misdemeanor depending on your interpretation of the law. Serious punishment is uncalled for.

It is okay in my book to commit a moral wrong, but not a legal wrong.
I really must agree. However i un belong to Pokebeach and the banned me for no reason. so i created another accont and complained.
