Here is a new series I have been working on. Yes it is based on the anime. But I am not going to do that sappy 5 year old crap. This is a story for the Champions. xD Well I better do the Disclaimer. Then I will post the prologue.

DISCLAIMER
I DO NOT OWN ANYTHING POKEMON RELATED LIKE THE ANIME, CHARACTER, MANGA, VIDEO GAMES, ETC. I WISH I DID OWN POKEMON THOUGH!

Prologue
Spoiler:
The cheers of millions of people could be heard through out the whole stadium. Millions of people from around the world have gathered in one place. They gathered in the region known as Sinnoh. To be exact they were at the Sinnoh league. It is the final battle to decide who will be the Sinnoh champion. On one side of the arena was a gray-haired boy that wore a blue jacket. He was born and raised in Sinnoh. He represented the region of Sinnoh. Even though he was close to becoming champion he had a cold heart. He treated his Pokemon with disrespect and he trained them by showing them no love at all. His name was Paul. The person he was facing was his rival. On the other side of the field was a raven-haired boy in a black jacket. The jacket had a yellow "V" on it and he wore a red hat with a blue pokeball symbol on it. He was from the region of Kanto. His home town was Pallet Town. The boy has only traveled for a couple of years, but has been to many regions. He has been to Kanto, Orange Islands, Johto, Hoenn, and now Sinnoh. He didn't win most of the Pokemon Leagues, but his name is known almost everywhere. On his shoulder was his most prized Pokemon and his best friend, Pikachu. He got Pikachu when he first started his journey. His goal was to be a Pokemon Champion. At first Pikachu and the boy didn't see eye to eye, but then they became the best of friends. His name was Ash Ketchum. Ash has had many rivals in the past, but to him Paul was different. His past rivals treated their Pokemon with respect while Paul treated them with no respect. This battle was everything for the both of them. One of them will become Champion, but who? Both of them were on their last Pokemon.
"You put up a good battle Ash," stated Paul. "But it all ends here." He grabs a pokeball from his belt and throws it. "Go Electivire!"
A white flash of light came out of the pokeball. It was in the form of a creature. When the light disappeared it was a big, yellow creature. It was the Pokemon Electivire.
"So it's Electivire," said Ash. "Ready Pikachu?"
"Pika!" replied Pikachu.
Pikachu ran up to the field. Pikachu was face to face with Electivire. Just like their trainers the two Pokemon had a rivalry.
"On the left side is Paul with his Electivire," said the Judge. "And on the right side is Ash with his Pikachu." He waved his flags. "Let the final match begin!"
"Use Thunder, Electivire!" ordered Paul.
A bolt of electricity came out Electivire's light rods. The bolt went straight to Pikachu.
"Dodge it and use Iron Tail, Pikachu!" shouted Ash.
At incredible speed Pikachu dodged the attack. A pile of smoke appeared where the bolt had struck. Out of the smoke came Pikachu. Pikachu's tail started to glow. Then Pikachu swung his tail at Electivire. Pikachu thought it was successful, but Electivire blocked the attack.
"Use Hyper Beam!" demanded Paul.
"Pikachu!" screamed Ash. "Dodge it!"
It was no use. Electivire grabbed Pikachu before it had a chance to run away. Electivire opened it's mouth and an orb of light was in it's mouth. Soon the orb became a beam of light. The beam hit Pikachu head on. Smoke appeared around where the two Pokemon were standing. The crowd stopped cheering and just stared where the Pokemon were standing.
"Pikachu!" cried Ash. He got on to his knees.
"Ash look at the field!" someone shouted.
Ash looked at the field and the smoke cleared. Pikachu was sitting on top of Electivire's head. The Hyper Beam hit Electivire's hands instead of Pikachu. Electivire screamed because of the pain.
"Stop whining you baby and finish him!" ordered Paul.
Electivire stopped whining immediatley. It looked at Pikachu with a deadly look. It punched Pikachu into the air. Pikachu was in pain from the punch. Then Electivire jumped above Pikachu with both of it's hand together. It used it's hands like a hammer and pounded Pikachu to the ground. Pikachu was sent flying to the ground. The impact caused a hole in the ground.
"Use Thunder Punch on that weakling!" shouted Paul.
Electivire obeyed his master. Electivire's fist started to flow with electricity. It then started to fall to the ground at extreme speeds. Then it finally reached the ground. Electivire jabbed his fist right into the hole picture was in. Screams could be heard from the crowd.
"Is it over?" asked the Judge.
The crowd was wondering the same question. The Judge, Paul, and the crowd looked at Ash. He was just snickering. They looked back at the field and Electivire looking confused. Below Electivire was a small hole.
"Now way!" screamed Paul. "It used Dig?"
Pikachu escaped from Electivire's Thunder Punch by digging a hole to escape. Ash knew that Pikachu was going to do that. Behind Eletivire a small hole appeared. Out from the hole a Pikachu popped out.
"You idiot!" shouted Paul. "It's behind you!"
"Too late!" replied Ash. "Pikachu use iron tail!"
"Use Thunder Punch!"
Pikachu's tail started to glow again. Electivire's fist were flowing with electricity too. Then as Electivire turned around it's fist and Pikachu's tail collided. As they collided both of them were sent flying. The crowd was awe struck again. Both Ash and Pikachu were staring at Paul and his Electivire. Both of their Pokemon were exhausted and they knew that the battle had to end soon.
"Looks like both of our Pokemon are exhausted," stated Ash.
"This is the final move," said Paul. "Electivire, Hyper Beam full power!"
"Pikachu!" screamed Ash. "Volt Tackle!"
"An orb of light appeared in Electivire's mouth once again. The orb turned to a beam. This beam was bigger than before. It was three times bigger than the past one. Pikachu just stood and watch the beam. Then volts of elctricity surronded Pikachu. Pikachu then charged toward the beam. The beam finally reached it's target and it collided with Pikachu. Instead of Pikachu being knocked out it went through the beam. Pikachu walked straight through it and charged right Electivire. Electivire was to weak to move because of the Hyper Beam. Pikachu hit Electivire head on. As Pikachu collided with Electivire smoke engulfed them. Everyone in the arena was waiting for the results. As the smoke disappeared they saw Pikachu and Electivire. Except that Electivire was on the ground knocked.
"The winner and Champion of the Sinnoh League is Ash Ketchum of Pallet Town!" announced the Judge.
The crowd started to cheer. They were cheering for Ash Ketchum. Ash walked up to his Pikachu and picked him up. Paul just recalled his Electivire back to it's pokeball. A beam of red light surronded the creature and then it disappeared. Paul looked at the pokeball with digust. Ash walked up to Paul.
"That was a good match Paul," said Ash. He held out his hand to Paul.
"What ever," replied Paul. He actually shook his rival's hand.
"I hope I could battle with you again,"
"What ever."
Paul walked away from Ash and exited the Stadium. Then a crowd of people surronded Ash. A dark man with brown, spikey hair hugged Ash and lifted him up. This man was a Pokemon breeder and was with Ash for his whole journey. The two of them were like brothers, but the man already had too much brothers and sisters. His name was Brock. Brock was literally in tears and he almost suffocated Ash until a young girl motioned him to stop. The young girl had blue hair and was a couple years younger than Ash. She was a Pokemon Coordinator and she loved to shop. Her name was Dawn. Dawn was laughing at Ash and Brock. Then three more people walked up to Ash. A young woman walked up to him and embraced him. The young woman was Ash's mother, Delia. The old man in a lab coat standing beside her was Professor Oak. Professor Oak was famous through out the world for his research. The boy besides the Professor had a sketch pad out. He was sketching the scene of Ash winning the Sinnoh League. His name was Tracey Sketchit. Ash was happy that he won his first official Pokemon League. A man in an aloha shirt and blue glasses walked up to Ash.
"Good job Ash Ketchum," said the Man.
"Scott?" asked Ash. He walked away from his friends. "What are you doing here?"
"I am here to congradulate you on your victory," replied Scott. "And to inform you about you about a tournament happening in Kanto."
"A tournament?" asked Ash.
"Yes a tournament." said Scott. "It is siliar to the Pokemon League because you have to collect all the badges in Kanto. Only a selected amount of trainers can enter the tournament. These trainers have been watched by Champions and the Elite Four of every Region."
"Well I have met a lot of them," stated Ash.
"I know," said Scott. "I am also one of them that closely watched you. So will you compete in the tournament Ash Ketchum?"
"Of course I would!" screamed Ash. "I am going to be champion of that too!"
"Before I go I have to tell you something," said Scott. "You will also be facing the Champions and the Elite Four members. They aren't your normal trainers Ash. This is a journey for Champions."
Scott took that as his leave and left. Ash was just staring where Scott was standing. He didn't even notice his friends gather around him. He was lost in his thoughts.
"Hey Ash you in there?" asked Brock. "If you don't wake up soon I will slap you silly!"
Ash finally got out of his thoughts and ran away from Brock. Everyone started to laugh at the two.

A dark shadow appears in the corner of the stadium. It is in the shape of a tall male.
"Soon young Ketchum you shall face me again," said a dark voice. "For I am the King!"
Read the prologue, sounds great, and I've narrowed the guy at the end to two people if this follows the anime. XD

Spoiler:
The dark shadow at the end of the prologue had taken control of Ash before.
Ash will partner up with two of his old companions and only one of his current companions shall remain in the group. NO ONE IS GOING TO DIE CHARQUIL!....Yet....
Very good job, you're improving.
Response to your spoiler...

.....dude....no one is dying

She just leaves the group. Finally that little <insert 2o curse words> is gone!
I will post the 1st chapter soon.
Well, this looks pretty good. I have only one issue, and that's that you felt the need to tell us that Electivire was coming 3 times.

"Go Electivire!"
A white flash of light came out of the pokeball. It was in the form of a creature. When the light disappeared it was a big, yellow creature. It was the Pokemon Electivire.
"So it's Electivire," said Ash.

I'm sorry, but it just got a little repetetive. Especially since he said he'd send out an electivire, so unless he named his Golem "Electivire," the Pokémon that pops out should tend to be an Elctivire. However, still nice, can't wait to read it.

I am finally done with chapter 1 of Champion's Journey. Here is one spoiler I am giving away for free and everyone will love it. NO MORE DAWN!

Chapter 1-Old Companions
Spoiler:
A couple days have passed since the Sinnoh League. Ash, Brock, and Pikachu were on a boat heading for Kanto. Dawn decided to stay back in Sinnoh.

The group of three and Pikachu were walking back to Sandgem town. Ash had escaped the crowds of reporters and was still excited that he won the Sinnoh League.
"I can't believe I am champion!" shouted Ash.
"We know Ash," sighed Dawn.
"Pika pi," sighed Pikachu. Pikachu was standing on top of Ash's head.
"Now we can finally go back to Kanto," said Brock.
"You guys are going back to Kanto?" asked Dawn.
"Of course we have to go back," replied Ash. "It is our home."
"So what are you going to do, Dawn?" said Brock while looking at the map on his Pokegear.
"I think I might go to Hoenn," suggested Dawn.
Ash, Pikachu, Brock looked at her with a confused look.
"I know what you guys are thinking," said Dawn. "Well I heard from Kenny and Zoey that they are going to go to Hoenn and I am going with them."
"So your going to go to Hoenn," said Ash in a quiet voice.
"Ash," said Brock.
"Well you better watch out Dawn," smirked Ash. "Their are some tough competition in Hoenn. Especially May. She is pretty good so watch out."
"What ever Ash!" screamed Dawn.
Dawn started to chase Ash around. Pikachu jumped onto Brock's shoulder.
"Ash has matured a little right Pikachu," whispered Brock.
"Pikachu," agreed Pikachu.
After an hour they finally reach their destination. Once they reached there the boat going to Kanto finally arrived.
"Well I guess this is good-bye," stated Brock.
"I hope I could see you guys again," said Dawn.
"Don't worry," replied Ash. "You could come to Kanto once you're done with Hoenn."
"Pika!" shouted Pikachu.
The group started to laugh. After that Ash and Brock walked to the boat. Then they got onto the boat and it set off into the horizon.
"Bye Dawn!" shouted Ash and Brock in unison.

"It looks like it's just going to be you, me, and Pikachu for a while," said Ash.
"Yea that's right," replied Brock. "How's that egg you got Ash?"
Ash took out an egg from his bag, "I am really not sure what's in it."
"Maybe you could show the egg to the Professor once we are back in Kanto," suggested Brock.
"I still can't believe everyone else left for Kanto a day before us," sighed Ash.
Brock started to laugh, "Don't worry Ash. We are almost at Kanto. You could practically see it."
"Well actually we can see it."
Both of them and Pikachu looked over the boat. They saw a small region in front of them. To them it looked like a small island, but looks can be deceiving. That region was none other than Kanto.
"Pika-Chu!" shouted Pikachu.
"Same here buddy," said Ash. He scratched behind Pikachu's ear.
"I have something to tell you Ash," stated Brock.
"Okay Brock," said Ash. "What is it?" Then Ash thought of some possibilities. Please don't tell me that you're gay! Or that you are my father! I watch too much Television.
"I going to go back to the Gym," replied Brock. "So I can't travel with you for the journey."
"That sucks," sighed Ash. "I can't eat anymore of your cooking."
"Chu," sighed Pikachu.
"Well on the bright side I get to battle you like old times," said Brock.
"I won't go easy on you Brock!" shouted Ash.
"Attention all passengers," said the Captain over the speakers. "We have arrived in the region of Kanto. "We are about to dock in Vermilion City."
When the boat finally stopped Ash and Brock got off the boat. They were finally back in their home region. It brought back some old memories from a while back.
"I guess this is where we go our separate way," said Ash.
"Don't worry Ash," replied Brock. "We will travel together again in the future. Well I should get going"
"Me too," said Ash. He got a pokeball from his belt area. He threw the pokeball in the air. "Come on out Staraptor!"
When the ball opened a white figure came out of it. After the light disappeared it revealed a giant bird Pokemon. Ash jumped on top of Staraptor. Pikachu hopped onto its head.
"Take us to Pallet buddy!" demanded Ash.
"Pika!" said Pikachu.
"Star!" replied Staraptor.
Staraptor started to flap its wings and then it took off. It was flying straight to Pallet at full speed. Pikachu lost its grip and flew into Ash's face.
"Ow," groaned Ash.
Pikachu and Staraptor laughed a little. Pikachu then sat on Ash's lap. Before they knew it they arrived in Pallet Town. To Ash it looked like nothing had changed. Ash took out Staraptor's pokeball.
"Staraptor return!" said Ash.
A beam of red light came out of the pokeball and absorbed Staraptor into it. After putting Staraptor's pokeball away he walked to his house. His house was sort of small and had a blue roof. When he walked up to the door he saw a note on it. He grabbed it and read it.

Dear Ash,
If you read this letter that means you must have arrived while I am shopping. I thought that I do a little shopping before you came back home. I am buying you new clothes since the ones you are wearing now are getting a bit too small. Before I forget one of your friends stopped over to see if you were home. Since you weren't home I asked her if she wanted to go shopping and she immediately said yes. Well we shall see you later.
Love,
Mom
P.S. Go to Professor Oak's. He has something to tell you.

"How have got to be kidding be," sighed Ash.
"Pika," sighed Pikachu.
"Well we should get to Professor Oak's!" shouted Ash.
Ash and Pikachu ran to Professor Oak's without looking back. While they were running Ash was lost in thought.
I remember my mom saying a girl went with her. thought Ash. It must be Misty or another fan girl
When Ash went back to reality he realized that he was in front of Professor Oak's. Pikachu jumped on Ash's shoulder about the same time. Ash walked up the steps to Professor Oak's. When he was about to open the door it opened from the other side and someone ran out of it. The person collided with Ash. Both of them fell to the ground.
"Ouch!" screamed Ash. "Hey are you okay?"
Ash looked at the boy he bumped into. The boy had blue hair and he was wearing glasses. He was also wearing a green long-sleeved shirt and blue jeans. The boy looked familiar.
"Thanks I'm okay," said the boy. He was looking inside his bag to see if anything was harmed. "You sound familiar." The boy finally looked up and looked directly at Ash. "Ash!"
"Do I know you?" asked Ash. He knew the boy looked familiar, but he can't put his finger on it.
"Pika-Pi!" shouted Pikachu. Pikachu jumped into the boy's arms.
"Long time no see Pikachu," greeted the boy. He pet Pikachu's head. "Ash if you still don't know who I am you are worst than my sister and Brock combined."
"Sister?" said Ash. He then thought about his past and remembered the boy. "Max!"
"Took you long enough," sighed Max.
Max and Ash stood up. Max gave Pikachu back to Ash.
"So what are you doing here Max?" asked Ash.
"I just got my Pokemon," replied Max.
"Wait!" shouted Ash. "You are going to compete in the Kanto region instead of Hoenn!"
"Well yea," giggled Max. "I wanted to start my journey here so I can follow in your footsteps. That and I wanted to see Professor Oak again."
"Wow," said Ash. "Well I have an appointment with Professor Oak. Want to come with?"
"Do I ever!" replied Max. "I haven't seen you two in a long time."
The three of them walked into the Lab. When they got in they saw Tracey tied to chair and Professor Oak holding a needle. Both of them saw Ash and Max walk in.
"Help me!" screamed Tracey.
"Should I even ask?" said Ash.
"Tracey is getting his flu shot," snickered Max. "I helped tie Tracey to the chair."
"Hello Ash, Hello Max," greeted Professor Oak. "I am glad to see you made it safely back to Pallet Town Ash. How is Pikachu doing?"
"He is doing good," replied Ash.
"Pi..Ka." whimpered Pikachu.
Pikachu was hiding behind Ash's head. It was probably afraid of needles.
"Well I heard that you would be competing in the Champion's tournament," said Oak. "That means that you will have to battle stronger opponents."
"Yea you're right," said Ash.
"So I wanted to know if you will be using some of your old Pokemon," said Oak. He showed pictures of all the Pokemon Ash has caught. He then grabs a ketchup bottle and throws it to Pikachu. Pikachu catches it and like a ninja it runs away.
"Wow," said Max with his mouth dropped. "Those are some strong Pokemon."
"Chu!" screamed Pikachu. It was drinking the ketchup.
Ash looked through all of the pictures and then he nodded. He gave his Staraptor, Gabite, and Infernape to Professor Oak.
"Hey Professor can you watch these guys for me then?" asked Ash.
"Of course Ash," replied Oak.
"I think I'll take," said Ash. "Quilava and Snorlax."
"Then follow me," said Oak.
The three of them walked to the back. They saw all sorts of Pokemon. A blob like Pokemon came and tackled Oak.
"Gah!" screamed Oak. "Get off of me Muk!"
"Is that your Muk Ash?" said Max.
"Of course it is," gloated Ash. "Hey there Muk long time no see."
"Muk," greeted Muk. It then crawled or whatever a Muk does and left.
More Pokemon ran up to them. One of the Pokemon had a leaf growing out of it's head. Two of the Pokemon in the crowd were a giant crab and a lobster. Behind them were a dinosaur thing with a bulb, an owl, a gecko thing, and 30 Bulls.
"Ash?" cried Max.
"Yes Max," said Ash unaware to the mob of Pokemon.
"Look behind you," replied Max.
"He is screwed,"stated Oak.
Ash turned around and the mob of Pokemon tackled him. After all the licking was over Ash could finally stand up.
"I am glad to see you guys too," laughed Ash. "Where is Snorlax and Quilava."
"Snore!" shouted Snorlax.
Ash turned around again and he saw Snorlax and Quilava walk up to him.
"Hey Quilava, Hey Snorlax," greeted Ash. "Guess what? You guys are going to come with me on my journey,"
"Lava!" shouted Quilava with delight.
"Lax," sighed Snorlax as it scratched its belly.
"Here is their pokeballs," said Oak.
Oak gave Ash Snorlax and Quilavas' pokeballs. Ash then pressed the button on the pokeballs and the two Pokemon vanished into the pokeball.
"I think we should get going before more Pokemon attack us," suggested Max. He was hiding behind a pillar.
"Okay then let's go," replied Ash.
The three of them walked back into the lab. Tracey was still on the chair, but he was on the ground and knocked out.
"I'll untie him later," sighed Oak.
"Okay Professor," laughed Ash. He was about to walk out the door until he remembered something. "I forgot. Professor can you look at this egg for me.
Ash looked inside his bag and he took out the egg. He gave the egg to the Professor.
"Interesting," said Oak. He started to examine the egg.
"Where did you get that?" asked Max.
"I got it from a guy named Riley," replied Ash. "I met him while I was in Sinnoh."
"I am not sure Ash," said Oak. He handed Ash the egg. "The best thing to do is to hatch yourself and see what it is. All I can say is that what ever comes out of that egg is going to be a strong Pokemon."
"Wow," said Ash. He put the egg in his bag and walked out the door. "Well I better get going. Come on Max!"
"Wait for me Ash!" screamed Max.
The two of them ran until Oak couldn't see them anymore.
"It must be nice to be young," sighed Oak. He looked behind him to see Tracey awake. Oak grabbed the needle and walked to Tracey. "Time for your shot Tracey!"
As Ash and Max ran to Ash's house they heard a scream. They didn't stop because they could guess who it was.
"So did you come alone to Kanto?" asked Ash.
"Nah," replied Max. "May came with me. She really wanted to go so I let her."
"So May is here," said Ash. "Where is she?"
Before Max could respond they were already at the door of Ash's house. The door swung open in front of them. Before their eyes stood a girl with long brown hair. She was wearing an orange shirt and a white shirt. Ash was focused on the girl. He knew that he knew her, but he wasn't sure.
"May?" asked a blushing Ash. She looked different in his eyes.
"Hey Ash," replied May. "You're finally home."
May walked forward and hugged Ash. Ash was left blushing with his mouth open. Max and Pikachu had What-the-heck-just-happened look on their faces.

I love Max and Pikachu's expression at the end XD
