Pyralis ate all three bushels the second they hit the ground. "Meat would be better, but this is good too, I'll eat just about anything." He licked his lips and walked over to a nearby pool and had a drink. "So, how are 'we' closer to beating Fricai just because I'm a Magma dragon? You're not really explaining anything."
"The only one who can truly stop Fricai is the Guardian of Nature," Dexus explained. "But the Guardian of Nature can only be summoned by the Thunder, Ice, and Magma dragons, and only when all three are together."
He then paused.
"With you here, we just have to find the Thunder and Ice."
Vladimir was prowling through Forest Island, searching for any other dragon. Vladimir needed to find someone or something else fast. Before his rage set in. After walking for a long time, he paused. He heard a sound coming from a nearby tree. Quickly flying up and finding the source of the sound, he found a Neotropical male and a Canopy female.
"I love exotic food," Vladimir sneered. He then lunged forward with the speed of a lightning bolt and swallowed the Canopy Dragon whole. He then bit into the Neotropical and flung it around, instantly killing it. He then ate that dragon too.
"I wonder what possible reason would bring them together..." he wondered aloud. He then spotted a nest where the branch he had been standing on met the trunk of the tree. Inside were 5 eggs: 3 canopy, two neotropical.
"Well, I cannot allow these eggs to go to waste," the Vampire Dragon quipped. He then let out a harsh laugh before biting each of the eggs, injecting his venom into each one. a neotropical and a canopy egg dropped out of the tree. The remaining canopies got Softshell and died. But the remaining egg, a Neotropical, started darkening and developing strange markings.
"Ah, my work here is do-" Vladimir was cut off by a sound of rushing through leaves. He glanced down and saw a Whiptail running throught the forest. The Vampire dragon, loyal to his king, swooped down and snapped the Whiptail's spine. He then picked it up and started flying. "What to do wiht you now, little one..." he said to the dying Whiptail, "what to do..."
"So, you're saying, that if me and two other other dragons get together, we can summon some all powerful dragon that could defeat Fricai." Pyralis burst out laughing. "That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard! Now I KNOW you're not Fricai's goon, you're just insane!" He was laughing so hard, magma was starting to leak out of his mouth. "Next you're gonna say, 'reviving this dragon is the only way. It is your destiny!'" He started to calm down. "OK, Ok, that was pretty funny, now why do you REALLY need me?"
After Fricai and two of the other dragons left, Pyros wondered what to do. He waited for a moment, if only just from surprise that they left so quickly, then decided to follow, remaining unseen all the while in flight towards the Grassland Island. If he was to usurp authority, he thought, this would be the time to do it. When the other guards and Fricai were somewhat more distracted. He would have to find the right time though, so he landed some way away from the others trying to remain unseen as possible.
Luxtrati Gratia was flying over the ocean nearby the Mountain Island when she thought she saw some commotion below. Wondering what this was about she stayed high in the air, silently watching. Below, there was a Nebula Dragon and another dragon - one she could not quite discern its identity. They seemed to be talking something over.
((Worst time for starting an RP EVER for me. >_> You started it the day I happened to be in Baltimore >_> Oh, and by the way, I won't be very active for a few days, seeing as I'll be heading back to my home state of Washington soon))
Dexus simply stared at Pyralis with a blank expression on his face.
(Nate, if I knew it was a bad time for you, I'd have waited. XD
Also, Fallen, keep in mind that the Gray wasn't killing the dragons. Just Fricai and Cruix were.)
Cruix stiffened, looking up. He knew he'd heard a dragon land nearby, and then another one, farther away. He narrowed his eyes and concentrated on the threat that was more nearby, while Fricai looked around for more dragons to hunt.
Cruix noticed a small glimmer of orange on the other side of a boulder and growled, startling Fricai somewhat, and leapt over the boulder to confront the Magi.
Fricai walked around to watch, staying behind his guard. "Well, well, what do we have here?"
Pyralis was staring back at Dexus. "What, you're serious!? Great, I'm traveling who knows where with a complete lunatic." Still, he may be leading me to other Anti-Fricai dragons. "Fine, lead the way, oh wise leader" He said, dripping with sarcasm. I just hope my instincts are right this time.
"Okay then," Dexus responded. "Our next step is to find the Thunder dragon."
He then paused.
"But now we have another problem. You have no wings. How are we gonna get you off this island?"
At this, Pyralis grinned. "I love it when people ask that question. I can, in fact, fly. Heat rises, so all I do is increase my body heat to the point where I just, well, 'fly'. Once in the air, I shoot streams of flame from my feet to move around. Simple as that." He new it wasn't simple. It took him 2 years to master this while most magma dragons learned in a few months, but he wasn't gonna tell Dexus that.
