The Pokemon War
Book I: Return

Setting: Kanto region; 5,000 years before humans exist.

Chapter 1: The Poliwag of Koron
Skylae the Pidgey and her brother Adan the Machop walked along the borders of Camp Viridian with the full moon shining on their bodies and the cool winds sweeping in and out of the forest trees with the Viridian Camp spread out beside them.
Skylae was to the right of her brother making the camp on her right side. They knew that if one of the Masters caught them after hours that they would surely be punished with never-ending drills.
"So...What's up, sis?" Adan asked sleepily. Skylae, unlike her brother, was wide awake.
"Just...couldn't sleep." she answered back sheepishly. Noticing a problem, Adan forced himself to wake up a little as they walked toward the mountain.
"Sis, you can tell me anything," Adan said, "afterall, we're the only family we've got left. Mom dissapeared as soon as we were born. Dad killed in a duel against a Gallade. You know this" he gave a saddened look to his sister as they rounded the mountain.
"I know, I know." Skylae answered, tears welling up, "most people say it's because they we're a weird combination. Pidgeotto and Machamp don't usually go together." Adan gritted his teeth.
"When I evolve," he said, "I'm going to punch Piko to the moon."
"ANYWAY," Skylae said, changing the subject, "I had a dream." Adan flinched. He hated it when his sister had dreams because they usually came true. "It was ab--"
[i]"BOOOOOM!"
Skylae never got to finish her sentence because of an erupt explosion coming out of the mountainside. Skylae and Adan went flying into the Psychic cabin of Master Alakazam. Abra's, Jynx's, Drowsee's, and even Master Alakazam himself woke up from their slumber.
Skylae, dazed, looked around the Psychic cabin. She had never been in it before. It was a purple tent that lied on the borders of camp for meditation. Drowsee's, Abra's, Jynx's, and even Master Alakazam himself awoke.
"What is going on?!" Master Alakazam yelled as he charged out the tent door towards the explosion. Adan and a Abra helped Skylae up. The rocks had hurt her more than anyone.
Skylae, Adan, and the Abra walked outside to see what had caused the explosion.
In the side of the mountain lied a Poliwag, making a crater. He moaned as Alakazam picked him up and started towards the Camp Hospital. His eyes fluttered open.
"What is your name, boy?" Alakazam asked.
"Q-Quoise," he managed, "Quoise Poliwag from the Koron Region."

Can anyone guess what the region Koron is now known as? It's east of the Kanto region a little ways.
I can see a lot of potential in this story, but it needs a tad bit of work. Erupt explosion? Poppycock.
by the time im done with all of the books, EVERYTHING will make sense.
Here we go. Chapter 2

Chapter 2: Days of Work
Skylae glided as quickly as possible after Master Alakazam who was headed towards the Camp Hospital with an unconciouss Poliwag in his arms.
"Sis, wait up!" Adan her brother Machop called from behind her. Skylae ignored and just kept gliding. She was determined to see who this Quoise Poliwag from the 'Koron' Region was. Afterall, his explosion had hit her the hardest.
Skylae saw Master Alakazam enter the Camp Hospital as she did the same. It was the familiar pink double cabin with Chansey's all around caring for the wounded or sick.
Skylae looked behind her to see her brother out of breath and walking into the Hospital.
"I'm not fast like you are." Adan complained, huffing. Skylae just smirked as she walked alongside her brother through the Hospital, looking for Alakazam.
"Was that your dream?" Adan asked as he finally caught his breath.
"The Poliwag? No." She answered. Her face darkened as her thoughts obviously turned to the dream. "It was a battle. A siege on camp."
Adan froze.
"A what?!"
"I'll tell you later. For now--" Skylae never finished her sentence because Master Alakazam walked up to them.
"Hello children," He said, "Quoise is doing just fine. He says he doesn't really remember anything but who he is and what region he's from."
"Where is the Koron Region?" Skylae asked, obviously curious. Alakazam thought for a moment.
"I believe it is past the Northeastern part of the Great Islands and North of the Sinnoh region." he answered. That didn't really answer Skylae's question because she had no idea where either of those places were, so she changed the subject.
"Can we talk to the Poliwag?" she asked.
"No, I'm afraid not tonight." Alakazam answered, starting to walk past them. Skylae became a little frustrated as her and Adan turned and watched him walk away.
"And why not?" She asked. Adan winced at his sister's stubborness. Alakazam turned his head to look at them, a small cold look in his eyes.
"He needs rest and so do you." He answered sternly as he walked out of the Hospital. Adan started forward as Skylae turned around.
"What are you doing?!" he said, noticing his sister.
"Gonna talk to that dang Poliwag." she snapped. She glanced at the Chansey's around her. None of them seemed to notice two children speeding towards one of the cots.
When they arrived at the cot of the Poliwag, Skylae shook him awake.
"Have you lost your Keen Eye?!" Adan seethed, "Master Alakazam will--" he stopped as Quoise the Poliwag opened his eyes.
They were an ocean blue color. Skylae and Quoise stared at each other for a long time. Quoise blinked.
"What is your name?" he asked. His voice was a little on the high side.
"I am Skylae Pidgey of the Kanto region." Skylae answered. Quoise nodded.
"Nice to make your acquaintance. I am Quoise Poliwag of the Koron region." Skylae suddenly had loads of questions.
"Where is the Koron region?" she asked. Quoise looked around.
"From Kanto, I don't know," he admitted, "I hardly know what Kanto is."
Skylae chuckled.
"I think the same of Koron." There was silence for a few seconds when Adan finally said, "Uh...Skylae." she jumped. She had forgotton he was there.
"What?" she asked, turning around, but Adan was gone. So was the Hospital. Her eyes widened. She knew what was happening.
Skylae turned back to Quoise. He was gone along with the cot. She tryed to Growl but nothing happened. Everything around her was black.
"WHAT DID I TELL YOU?" Master Alakazam's voice boomed behind her. She bravely turned around to face him.
He had grown to the size of an Onix and had orange burning eyes.
"For disobeying a Master, you and your brother shall serve the Psychic cabin for 100 days." And with that, Skylae fell to the ground completely uncounciouss.
Hey, does anybody even LIKE or READ my story?? Just curious to see if i should stop here cause no one is reading it.
Pidgey and Machop as brother an sister? lolwut

Also try paragraphing a bit more. I'll read the rest soon, but check the views; people do read it.
Well....ugh!! I want to spoil things but i can't! Just wait untill a couple stories later and you'll know why their parents are such a strange mix.
ready for the 100 days of work? here we go...

Chapter 3: Quest for Return
Adan moved through the forest away from the Viridian Camp, grumbling to himself.
"Stupid Alakazam. Stupid Quoise. Stupid--" He stopped aruptly as somthing moved a few yards next to him. Something told him not to look, but out of curiosity overtook as he slowly turned his head.
Next thing he knew he was gasping for air in a thick rap. His eyes were blinking nonstop from the disability to open them.
Adan finally forced his eyes open as he realized what was coiling him was an Arbok. He knew he was no match for it.
"Ahhhh," the Arbok said, "an unlucky camper. Too bad you won't last to become a true Pokemon." Adan tried to Karate Chop like he practiced with Master Machamp. It hardly seemed to do anything as it made contact with the Arbok's face.
The Arbok just laughed as he opened his mouth to Bite. Adan closed his eyes, welcoming death. The Arbok was about to close in when "BAM!"
A purple head hit the Arbok as he went flying into a tree. Adan fell harshly to the ground and looked up to see who his savior had been.
A big shadow loomed over him. His face got closer to Adan as he instantly knew who it was.
"Is that you, young Adan Machop?" asked Master Sleepus Snorlax. Adan blinked. "A little shocked to see me out here are you?"
"Uh...yeah. Th-thanks." Adan said. Arbok stirred as Master Snorlax stood up to his full heighth. Adan stood up and stood right beside Master Snorlax. Snorlax chuckled.
"Ahhh Master Snorlax. It's been a while." Arbok said as he stood up to almost his full heighth which was taller than Snorlax by at least three feet.
"Pupil Arbok. Son of Master Arbok. It has been a while, hasn't it?" Arbok sneered angrily.
"I'm NO PUPIL!!" Arbok charged at Snorlax as he tackled him and started to Crunch. Snorlax's head turned purple as it made contact with Arbok's colors on his chest. The atmosphere rippled as Adan fell on his butt. Again.
"Adan! Stay back! I'll take Arbok! Finish your quest for Master Alakazam!" Snorlax yelled as his fist turned blue and as he charged towards Arbok once more.
Adan didn't stay to watch the results as he bolted to where he had been walking in the first place.
When he was sure that the fight was far from him, he looked around. He had no idea where he was. He was hopelessly lost in the forest.
Out of panic, he started to quickly walk in a random direction. Eventually he broke out of the trees into a small road with a little bit of wandering Pokemon. Pidgey's, Rattata's, and a few bugs hiding here and there.
After walking a few steps through the clearing he realized he was on Road 2.
Adan walked up to a male Pidgey and asked "Hey, do you know where I can go to get to the Orichard of Vileplume?" The Pidgey gave him a sideways glance as he turned back to what he was doing.
"Hey," Adan said a little more forcefully and taking a step forward, "I asked--" Adan never had time to finish his sentence because the Pidgey turned and attacked with Tackle. Adan nearly dodged it as he turned and Low Kicked. It made contact with the Pidgey's knees as he stumbled to his stomach.
Adan then Karate Chopped right in the middle of the Pidgey's head as he fell completely knocked out. Adan was satisfied with himself and his mastery of his Karate Chop as he started jogging back through the forest hoping to run into Camp Viridian again.
* * * * *
Quoise Poliwag tryed to force out Water Gun just as Master Blastoise had said. Keeping his emotions calm and pushing out the power in his body. It came out weakly as it hit the target in front of him.
"Again." Master Blastoise ordered. Quoise became agitated as he tryed once more. It came out even weaker.
"Again," he ordered once more, "if you ever want to go on a journey with your friends to return to the Koron Region." Quoise became a little calmer and more concentrated as he tryed once more.
Since the day he had arrived about a month and a half ago, Quoise Poliwag had been begging for a journey with the two Pokemon that had found him; Skylae and Adan; to return to his home: The Koron Region.
But the Head Masters had protested and said he and his friends needed to train before starting their journey. So since then he and his friends had been learning new moves, honing in on their strengths, and polishing their weaknesses.
Water Gun hit the target dead on as it crumpled and bursted into bits.
"Very good," Master Blastoise applauded, "you may go to have free time." Quoise jumped and turned in excitement as he bursted out of the Water Cabin.
It was only midday and it would be at least two hours before Master Blastoise would call him for practice again. Quoise hoped that Adan and Skylae were done with there training as he trotted toward the Flight Cabin.
In the time he was here, Quoise had managed to see what the camp was shaped like. The cabins and tents of all the different types were spread out across the camp in the areas that were best for them. For instance, the Flight Cabin which held both Flying and Dragon Pokemon was on top of the mountain. The Psychic Cabin, which Quoise was now passing was on the western border of the camp.
Quoise saw Master Alakazam practicing with some students outside of the Psychic tent.
"Master," Quoise called, "have you seen Adan lately?" Master Alakazam looked over to him.
"Young Adan is out running an errand for me." he replied, as he suddenly coached a student. Quoise turned back to the mountain where the Flight Cabin was located and started towards it once more.
About twenty minutes later Quoise was on top of the mountain and staring at the Flight Cabin for the first time.
There were three little shelters made of mud and rock spread out across the flat top of the mountain. Over on the cliffside was ten to twelve Pokemon jumping off and floating back up or learning new moves in mid air. Two of these Pokemon included Master Pidgeot and Master Dragonite. Master Dragonite was a Head Master of Camp.
Quoise walked to one of the cabins and sat down to watch. There were quite a few Pidgey's flying around doing attacks, jumping off of the cliff. Quoise just couldn't find Skylae.
"Hey there superstar," a snotty voice said from beside him, "looking for your girlfriend?" Quoise knew who it was without looking.
It was Piko Pikachu and his friend Slither Ekans.
"What do you want with me today, Piko?" Quoise asked, containing his annoyance and anger.
"Nothing much," he admitted, "just here to watch the show." Quoise knew that this was an immediate lie because the Flight training was almost done.
Quoise, Piko, and Slither sat silently while watching the Flight cabin practice moves.
"Pathetic fliers." Quoise heard Piko mutter. Quoise cringed in anger at Piko as Master Dragonite called free time. All the Pokemon went their seperate directions as a female Pidgey Quoise hadn't even noticed train jogged toward him.
"Hey Quoise." Skylae said, smiling beautifully at him. Her face darkened as she saw the other two. She just nodded to them as she and Quoise started to walk off the mountain.
"Wait," Piko called, "don't you want to see the move my dad taught me today?" Skylae and Quoise turned around with frowns on their faces to see Piko's cheeks sparking with electricity.
"First," he said, "you make them immovable." Piko called out his name as he covered him self in electricity and shot a small wave at Skylae. Quoise angrily charged at Piko who had stopped with the electricity.
"No, no," Slither said as he stopped Quoise, "stand back and watch the show." Slither than Wrapped around Quoise, making it impossible for him to speak or move. All he could do was watch.
"I-I can't move." Skylae whined. Piko just chuckled as he was covered in electricity once more.
"Now for the grand finale," he said, "Charge...BEAM!" An electric beam shot out of Piko's body as it hit Skylae dead on. Every negative emotion possible flowed into Quoise's body as he stared straight at Piko.
The next thing he knew, he was standing over a barely conciouss Piko and behind him was a Knocked Out Slither.
Piko was soaking wet as he fearfully looked up at Quoise.
"Wh-what did you d-do?" Quoise looked around to see fearful eyes staring at him. He had no idea what had just happened. He turned to Master Dragonite, who was looking at him not as happily as he usually would be.
Hours later Quoise was lying in his cabin wide awake when he was supposed to be sleeping. He hadn't been able to have freetime or even had training for that matter.
And he didn't even know what he did! He had just gotten angry adn then Piko was nearly Knocked Out. He didn't get it.
These thoughts suddenly fled his mind when a rustle was heard outside his cabin door. Quoise slowly stood up as there was another rustle.
"Who's there?" Quoise demanded. A few cabinmates stirred. Quoise jumped when Skylae's head poked through the door.
"Could you be any louder??" she seethed. Quoise relaxed as he quietly stepped out of the cabin.
Quoise immediatly noticed that Skylae was wanting to travel. She had a bag over her chest and a startling look in her eyes.
"Where are you going?" Quoise asked forcefully. Skylae glanced around, making sure no one was listening.
"Well, Adan hasn't returned from his little errand for Master Alakazam, and I was hoping that you would help." The last part she said mor softly.
"Of course I'll help," Quoise said, "you guys are my best friends."
"And I was also thinking...if you want to..." a tear welled in her eye.
"What is it?" Quoise asked.
This time in a barely audible voice, Skylae said, "Koron."
