Welcome to the Elf War RP (SU)

Storyline:
The elves were all living in the woods peacefully one day until a deranged and  
evil elf called Arikarmi broke off from the main group with three of his friends: Heara, (girl) Bavero, (boy) and Lami (boy). They slowly changed in the Black Forest turning into Night Elves and becoming nocturnal. Slowly their unreasoned hatred grew for the normal elves and slowly their population grew. More and more Night Elves prowled the forests, and one day war was declared between the two elf clans. 
Now go, and join the fight!

You can be either Night Elves or High Elves. Heara, Bavero and Lami are all NPCs but I am going to be Arikarmi.

I just have a question. The High Elves and Night Elves, is this based off of World of Warcraft?

It's an online game. Main reason that I asked is because there's a race called the Night Elves and a race called the Blood Elves, which were previously known as High Elves.

I might join this, not sure.
